Love this float. Original Hudson we bought even survived the freeze in February.

Keep my pond from overflowing and level
I do not like the new valves as much as the old ones. The old ones were quieter and did not jolt the pressure in my plumbing system. Now when the new valves open there is a loud rush as the water spurts out and it makes the pipes in my house rattle. But, that said, they work well and do the job. If I can find others that work as well and are quiet I will replace them.

Bought a brand new hudson valve installed ir as reccomended. Left to go to work for 1 week valve had not turned off when water level was obtained. It run 56 thousand gallons of water on the ground. I called the company talked to one of the reps i was told the owner would call me he never did. I called back couple days later and my number had been blocked so you make your determination whether they are any good. I had used them for years with no problems and this happens and they wouldnt talked to me about the issue no more hudson valve
