Lead is lead I suppose but the container is top notch
Not much you can say about pencil lead I suppose, but it does come in a very clever holder that makes sure the lead stays inside until you need to get to it. Not like Pentel where the top can come off and get lead all over the place. I haven't compared it to other brands, at a lower cost, but it does the job and it works great in the rOtring mechanical pencil that I purchased at the same time

Softer, darker, much better than HB
Fantastic. It needs less pressure since it is softer, but shows up darker on the paper. I use it with my graph gear 500 and 1000 as well as the kuru toga.
