Would this be good enough as a bbq rack

You can use the rack in an oven, it will take heat, but I am not absolutely sure about a bbq.

the cooling rack is made of a heavy duty stainless steel so is solid in construction,I`ve only used it for cooling a cake/bread etc so can`t help with the weight it will hold

Has anyone used this on a gas BBQ with good results?

I use this to keep the charcoal off the bottom of my BBQ to increase air flow. It has handled the intense heat without falling apart although it has discoloured, which is not a surprise. Quite a thick gauge metal and rigid construction.
