Great & easy to use safety device for scuba diving
This small type has exactly the size I expected. Of course its main purpose is to be a safety device but the compact size allows for easy storage (put it in my Mares XR pocket, fits also in Apeks small cargo pocket). I have not used it since it is really tightly rolled up and I doubt I could roll it up the same way. By looking at it, it appears solid made and I am convinced that it works well. All items and elements look as described. It comes in a sheath which can be closed with a velcro strap. Due to the simplicity it seems easy to deploy. Another safety accessory compact enough to travel with and stow away easily somewhere on your backplate. Highly recommend for remote and also day-to-day diving since no special maintenance except some rinsing required.

Important to have because ...
This is such a clever idea! And we think that it is well thought out.A lot of people get so caught up with skimming to the minimum with their hiking (etc.) equipment — like cutting back on weight — that, thinking this streamer would be too bulky (or whatever), to carry they might cut back on its inclusion in their kits. However, one day, with one mis-move, one accident in your outdoor endeavors, and with your have this streamer in your kit might prove to be critical for your safety. If you think we’re over-talking this, then we suggest you take the time to look at the videos that are attached to the website. Those visuals alone — especially the one where the person is lost at sea — should tell you why this is a LIFESAVING item to have in your kit.

GREAT SENSE OF SECURITY
I bought two of these for my niece and her husband. They took them on a dive trip to Egypt for their honeymoon; and my niece took hers on a ten day marine biology college scholarship trip to Curacau (sp?) sorry. It gave me a huge feeling of relief to know they had this safety device with them in case the unthinkable happened. For that reason alone I would recommend this for anyone who dives, hikes in the mountains, rock climbs, etc. They did not need to use them, but in the event that they did - I will believe the SEE/RESCUE Streamer would operate as intended and they would be saved.

Extremely handy if ever needed
This item was purchased as a gift. Our son is a back country snowboarder, hiker, Florida Keys fisherman….always outside very active. Once a year, he takes disabled vets on mountain climb in Colorado Rockies. First saw these on Shark Tank where they did a demonstration video. WOW extremely impressive product….reflective material was amazing for spotting disabled boaters in water. Hopefully he will never need this item…. Better safe than sorry. Worth every penny 👍

Great
Pilot flying over water frequently. The clip is golden. Clips right into my life vest so it comes with me during egress. Hopefully I never use it but glad to have it with me and stay with me during egress. The small size is a good compromise between size and function. Exactly what I was looking for in lieu of water dye market. Will also work on land which is a bonus. Fantastic addition to a signal mirror.

Boater approved
Bought it as a gift for my boating father, he enjoys lobstering at night so this gives my family and I peace of mind. You can never have too much lightweight safety gear, and I could see this tool potentially saving someone lost at sea. My father loved his gift, but I do hope he never has to use it!

Every diver/boat should have one like these. It's smaller than a safety sausage and well made. Not too long ago we came up in a major storm and we got lucky that our dive boat did find us despite 30ft visibility but in that storm 2 kids whose boat capsized where never found. I really hope I never have to use it but if I do I know this will be the best 80 dollar I ever spent to increase my survival chance significantly.
