Excellent Cutting Fluid for Manual Machining
I've been using Action Can CT-90 cutting and tapping fluid on my manual lathe for quite some time now, and it's become my go-to for most jobs. The 500ml poly bottle with spout is a practical size - lasts a decent while without taking up too much space on the workbench, and the spout makes it easy to apply exactly where you need it without wasting product or making a mess. Much better than trying to pour from a tin. Performance-wise, it's spot on. Makes a noticeable difference when drilling, tapping, or turning - smoother cuts, better surface finish, and your tools stay sharper longer. I've used it on aluminium, brass, and steel with good results across the board. Particularly brilliant for tapping threads - you can feel the difference immediately, much less effort and cleaner threads. The fluid itself isn't too thick or too thin, applies well and stays where you put it. Doesn't smell particularly offensive either, which is a bonus when you're working in a smaller workshop space. One thing: still wear gloves. It's cutting fluid, not hand cream, and you don't want this stuff soaking into your skin day after day. For the price, it's excellent value. Does exactly what it's meant to do without any fuss. If you're doing any metalworking - threading, drilling, turning - this is well worth having on the shelf. Highly recommended for manual machining work.

Makes hacksawing and drilling easy
If you're a keen DIY-er like me, I can definitely recommend this cutting oil. I've used it when tapping threads, drilling and hacksawing all metals. I've never used cutting oil until I bought this, and now I'd never be without it. It's a big bottle (see photo), and the oil goes a long way because you only need a drip every now & then, so I doubt I'll need another bottle for ages. I definitely recommend this!

Another bit of important common tooling. Liquid form and in a tubby bottle. Workshop staple.
The proper stuff. Hope they never change it. Smells ungodly when smoking hot but reduces wear and tear and horsepower requirements on the lathe even in the toughest materials, also very useful for tapping and hacksawing. Keep it away from yellow metals, they don't need cutting oil anyhow, use diesel or paraffin for aluminium. Machine copper dry, by using appropriate tooling geometries, feeds and speeds. Same for cast iron, Also this gave a minor stain to some particularly strange stainless I had, but only briefly. Experiment with it.. you also don't need much to do the job which is fortunate as it would get expensive otherwise.

Excellent
Used for cutting thread on galvanised steel conduit, did excellent job easy to apply just a couple of drops so it runs around the pipe. The bottle comes with a screw on cap and this is an excellent cutting oil.

Excellent!
One el-cheapo HSS drill from the tool stations multipack has lasted more than 180 bores in the doubled 8mm mild steel. and is still useable! I am very impressed with this cutting oil: cools well, cleans with ease with the rug and tastes really good ;)

Very good cutting oil
I have been using CT90 for many years, I have found it improves cutting and prolongs tool life considerably. I use it for general sawing, milling, tapping and lathe work. I would not be without it now.
