First try with this “Gro” system with san marzano tomato seedlings in a food safe five gallon bucket. Growing on sunny deck. Plants are thriving. I like that system delivers water to roots and has a 4” reservoir. Tomatoes should ripen with a few more hot days.

I loved it so much I ordered a second 3-pack. The plants seem to be thriving and only need to refill every few weeks if no rain. I used my own compost/dynamic lifter/blood and bone mix with cheap soil and a peat moss cover. Eggplant, Zuccini and herbs all doing well.Bonus is that the 20l buckets can move inside next to glass wall during winter which I can't do with the bigger pots.

I decided to start a self-watering container garden this year. After watching numerous You Tube videos I constructed 4 containers. I improved the design each time I made one, and was very proud of myself. That is, till I saw a vid for GroBucket. I realized no matter how much I improved my design it would never be as good as GroBucket, not even close. For $18 per unit ($54 for 3) this is a no-brainer. The design is genius for it's functionality and simplicity. Highly recommend.

I have used this method and it works well, I am currently working on some mods to the system and will update accordingly on grow diaries when I have time. Will buy again.

I found this product to be very helpful. Keeps the water under the soil so no bugs on top. Perfect for indoor growers. The directions for setup were easy to follow and the product itself was very easy to assemble. I bought 2 sets and plan on buying more after testing. So far testing for me is positive.
