Great controller, terrible documentation!
I had ordered this, and it arrived quickly, but I could not get it to connect. I followed the instructions, but no luck, and I couldn't find any useful troubleshooting info on the internet. They sent me a replacement, and I seemed to have the same problem again, but I kept trying different things, until "Eureka!" I found the problem, and it wasn't the controller - it was the instructions. The pairing instructions SHOULD read something like this:Go to the Change Grip/Order page, then press and hold the HOME button. The lights will flash slowly at first, but keep the HOME button held down until they flash rapidly. At that point, press the L+R buttons simultaneously, and it will connect. Now that I've gotten past that, it is a very well-built controller, and works great!

Good product, pairing instructions need updating.
Definitely an upgrade from the joy cons. Very comfortable and I like the feeling of the paddles and buttons when playing, more tactile than the joy cons. The pairing instructions are not very clear. I did find these instructions from another review that worked flawlessly. The pairing instructions SHOULD read something like this:Go to the Change Grip/Order page, then press and hold the HOME button. The lights will flash slowly at first, but keep the HOME button held down until they flash rapidly. At that point, press the L+R buttons simultaneously, and it will connect.

Great controller for Animal Crossing...but the light!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is for the people that are using it for Animal Crossing Nw Horizon for the switch. The controller will work perfectly for farming wood and getting a consistent return on the rock. My wife loves it because she can use it to shake the trees 🌲My only gripe is that the light on the controller are super obnoxious when you are charging it at night.

Awesome
Love the pro controller! Fits hands perfectly! It stays charged for a long time. The handles are made by some kind of leather. Looks beautiful , and more important, much more comfortable than the joy cons!

Great for gaming - not for streaming on your Switch
I bought this controller after watching numerous reviews on YouTube discussing its superior D-Pad to Nintendo's branded Pro-Controller's own D-Pad, and THEY ARE ALL RIGHT. The D-Pad on this controller doesn't even compare to Nintendo's - this one is in a league of its own, and Nintendo needs to take notes. That being said - it has a far-shorter standby time of inactivity before "sleeping", requiring the user to reconnect it if said user intends on bouncing through different shows on Hulu or YouTube, whereas Nintendo's Pro-Controller does not have that issue. I read the manual for THIS controller, and there is no mention of adjusting the wake-time of the controller, so if you're planning on marathoning or binge-watching anything, better keep your thumb ready to wiggle the D-Pad, pause/un-pause, or otherwise be diligent in pressing one of the keys on the controller every few minutes. I haven't timed it, but from the frequency of having to reconnect every time I needed to pause in the middle of an episode of whatever I'm watching on Hulu, waiting for it to reconnect (which takes anywhere from 30 seconds to a full minute AFTER waking it up with a 5-8 second pressing of the H key) so I can go to the bathroom or answer a phone call or respond to a text message or fix dinner or what have you, it became fairly apparent fairly quickly that this controller is a dedicated GAMING controller. For GAMING. And for that, I give it 5 stars. If you don't have an official Pro-Controller and wanted the efficacy of one instead of your Switch's Joy-Cons as a main controller, GET THIS ONE. It costs less than half what an official Pro-Controller costs, performs better in every way I've needed it to (except for the streaming, but I have two official Pro-Controllers already, so it's a non-issue for me), and I will be buying a second one, and possibly even a third, so I have one at each dock for when I want to move my Switch around. If I were compelled to give a criticism about this controller versus the official Pro-Controller, I'd provide that it could be weighted a little better - it's a tad light and that can 'feel' cheap in the hands. But nothing about the PERFORMANCE of this controller as a GAMING controller feels cheap in the slightest...just don't binge Letterkenny on it.

Good controller with bad instructions. (See review for instructions on pairing that work)
Overall this is a good controller. It feels good in the hands and it's responsive. A good value for the price. The biggest problem are the poor instructions however. As with many others I initially had problems both pairing and keeping the controller paired to my switch but eventually got it working. See below for instructions on both.Pairing:1. Turn on your switch2. Use the Joy-Cons to get into the 'Controllers' menu from the home screen3. Click 'Change Grip/Order'4. On the controller press and hold the home button. The LEDs will first blink slow, after a few seconds they'll blink fast.5. Once the LEDs are blinking fast press the L and R buttons to pair.6. Go back to the home screen and put the switch into sleep mode by holding the home button and then clicking Sleep. (This seems to help keep the controller paired)Using the controller:To use the controller, make sure you turn your switch on first, and then quickly tap the home button once. The LEDs should blink for a second before they go solid indicating which player the controller is. If you hold the home button for too long, or turn the controller on before the switch, you risk losing the pair and having to go through the process all over again.

Highly recommended, exceed my expectations
Very nice controller, beyond my expectations!Pros:1. Price for the value2. Work very well3. Can wake up the console remotely4. Accurate and responsive 6 axis positioning5. Stable connectivity6. Can play on PC when connected by a cableCons:1. Not very ergonomic for my hands and my hands get sweat after long playing2. Very slight lag, noticeable when I play Hollow Knight, but it is acceptable and won’t affect your play much3. Itd be nicer if it could connect to PC wirelessly. Conclusion: highly recommend to those who look for a budget controller.

Perfect for me and our six year old.
We bought one controller to see how it worked and it performed like a champ. It worked so well that we purchased two controllers. The charge seems to last a long time. I was a little skeptic at first - with an internal battery - but we’ve had absolutely no issues at all. Definitely feels much better that the using the Switch provide Joy-con controller. We bought it for our six year old and he enjoys how it feels.

Good purchase overall. Kids happy.
Great product overall. Doesn't feel too cheap. I think this would be great for regular sized hands and kids.At $23 a pop shipped with prime compared to $89 for the original pro controller, I'm really not going to complain. I have the original pro controller as well and I would say the difference is the wider grip on the pro as well as the better precision of the joystick on the pro.The joystick on this one feels "stiffer" and will require a little getting used to. But once you start using it, it will be fine. Battery life is pretty decent as well.

Worth for buying. Works great and looks amazing.
I bought this for playing nintendo switch games with my computer. Emulator works great with the controller. Vibration and all buttons are working well. Bluetooth connection was fast and easy. Price for this controller is less than half of the original one which worth for buying.
