Nib - NISH Dual-Action Mechanical Pencil - Fine Point - Burgundy (7520-01-317-6428)

I started a new position at work (7.5 years ago) and the desk I was assigned to happened to have one of these pencils in the drawer. It was old and beat up but it was the only pencil I had at the time. After one day I was in love with this pencil, my co-workers knew better than to ask to borrow it because I would stalk them until I got it back. I looked for another one online but they were kinda pricey so I never ordered one. One of genius co-workers pointed out that the price was for 12 pencils and I could not order fast enough! The order came quickly and in perfect shape. The pencils are a lighter weight and lighter in color than the old one which I still use but are otherwise similar. I have only been using the new pencil for a few days but I love it and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I keep all but one of the new pencils at home so that my co-workers don't run off with them. :-)

The best mechanical pencils. If you are a fan of the (now unavailable) Papermate Logo series of mechanical pencils, you will love these pencils. They are essentially a clone of the Papermate Logos. Well-built, sturdy, comfortable and great overall writing instruments with a retractable metal sleeve to protect the lead from breakage and a twist eraser mechanism for a great eraser that completely and cleanly erases pencil marks. I'd been using the Papermate Logo pencils for many years and was dismayed to find out they had been discontinued. These pencils are a great replacement and are basically the same (other than the brand). I'm stocking up on these in case the manufacturer decides, like Papermate, to discontinue them. If they're anything like the logos (and they give every indication that they are), they'll each last for many years to come.

These pencils are wonderful. They are comfortable, reliable, solid. They write cleanly, and they have great erasers. Good luck finding replacement erasers. I found the Pentel Clic Eraser refills would work if you cut them to length.

I received the package but instead of a box of 12 mechanical pencils, I got 11 and 2 were broken. So I only ended up with 9 of 12 mechanical pencils that were actually useable.

I've used mechanical pencils for decades, very difficult to find locally. They arrived on time, they work, I'm happy

These are like the old Logo pencils.

My son uses these for school and they are just really good pencils. We've saved money getting these because they don't break as much as the junky ones you can buy in the store.

Have used this mechanical pencil at work for ages. Finally have a source for it for home use. What else could you ask for...it is light, easy to hold, and has a large eraser that works great.
