DROP + Redsuns GMK Red Samurai Keycap Set for Full-Size Keyboards - Compatible with Cherry MX Switches and Clones (1800 Layout 113-key Kit)

When I purchased this it was on sale but even at full price this is quite unique if you are building a standard 65% layout board and want GMK caps for it. I've always loved the GMK Red Samurai but usually to get what is included in this you need the full kit, the hiragana alphas then the novelty kit... all 3 of those is getting close to $250 for keycaps. If you just need enough for a 65% board that is a LOT of keys you may never use. This kit from DROP and Redsuns gives you the ability to get just and pay for the ones you actually need and want. I sure wish they would offer similar sets for the Blue Samurai as well! Quality is fantastic, it's GMK, they look, feel and sound great! If you like this look and have a standard 65% layout, spend a little more and get this over a clone set, trust me it's more than worth a few extra dollars for the real thing.

I've never purchased a keycap set before, especially one that is this expensive. The quality feels premium and likely to last, but that's not what you're paying the steep price for (you're paying for the exclusivity and the novelty of this specific style). I absolutely love the color, which looks great on black or dark-colored boards, and the Japanese style characters give it a nice vibe. I wanted a set that wasn't massed-produced and not too many people have, and this is what I went with. I'm very pleased overall, it's just a matter of whether or not the price is worth it to you!

Good quality caps. Deff recommend them. The price is kinda high IMO. They do feel better then all other abs caps but I still find my fingers getting sweaty from the abs. Never happens with pbt keys for me. Over all if you like them and can afford it. Yes. Also I bought the tkl layout so it would fit my 60%

Very nice keycaps. Looks beautiful. The color and inkinh as an elegance to it, and "gold" and red are not too bright, just subtle but eyecatching. Not shine throughs for those who don't read descriptions. Texture wise, personally i like both gmk and pbt; some may not. It's a matter of personal preference. The only issue: packaging. For the price I would expect waaaaay better packaging then this. I have bought keycaps 1/3 the price of these but still came with clear plastic trays with individually slotted keycap slots and a nice and tight cover so that the keycaps wouldn't fly around in the box. These, for almost 100 bucks, came in a cheap white plastic tray with very long slots that don't hold individual keys at all. When I opened it, the keys were all over the place. Good look and quality material, just the packaging that maksmes the unboxing and experience Kinda disappointing.

This is my first key cap set. I mainly bought it because I like the red black and yellow coloration and thought the Japanese characters add a nice flavor to the enjoyment of using it. I am using them with Cherry MX Black Silent with these keycaps. They definitely feel durable. I didn't deduct for a couple items but want to mention them. I don't understand the need to have duplicate keys for the same characters if these are truly that durable and last forever. It seems smarter to provide some keys allowing use on different keyboard layouts. For example, I can't use these on a more custom layout keyboard (only works with base ANSI style). I see pictures by other reviewers showing use of them with an LED keyboard (description does not say they will work with one). Unlike their picture mine completely hides all LEDs except for a faint bit of light escaping a few of the keys with more open space around them.

The expectations were more related to this item, it is a little bit overrated than its actual value. The quality is high, but not so good one for gaming.

Extremely Overhyped - Missing keys, Incorrect Profile, Poor material and bad finishing on some keys. The most overhyped product I have bought in a long time. 1. Thin ABS plastic 2. Feeling is like cheap 30 $ keycaps due to the thin material. 3. The 1800 set does not cover a standard ANSI full size keyboard. Several keys are missing 4. Some keys have jagged edges and bad finishing 5. Several keys are made wrongly: - (minus) and '. Del' - these have the wrong profile height lower than the correct height 6. Not a grippy feel. Slippery from day one. Can only expect to get worse

i LOVE THIS SET i always wanted this exact one, but once i had the money to finally get it and build a custom tofu they had been sold out, i got it today with a little hiccup but the seller made more then good, and for that one thing i love more than the caps is this seller, thank you so much! this opened up the gates for me to be able to see the possibility and capabilities of custom keyboards and since have built multiple thousand + dollar custom keyboards in a very short period of time, and i refuse to use anything thats not gmk because its simply the best. i used too feel simmilar about SA profile with my SA leviathans, and york chan SA 2600 but nahh now im on a gmk keycap kick

GMK hat halt einfach die beste Qualität! Hochverarbeitetes ABS-Plastik mit extrem scharfen Schriftkonturen, es sieht und fühlt sich einfach extrem gut an. Außerdem ist 60€ ein extrem guter Preis für das 65% Kit, wenn es für einen reicht, jedoch ist das Kitting etwas meh, aber für den Preis kann man sich nicht beschweren, da bekommt man gebraucht kaum etwas besseres. Das einzig blöde war die Verpackung, die war komplett zerknittert und fast kaputt, aber dafür kann der Verkäufer nichts

I forgot to take a picture, but the keycaps are hella nice. My only gripe with GMK is their packaging. Literally came with all the keycaps all over the place in the packaging, which didn't damage anything, but for a brand where the keycaps aren't exactly cheap, you would expect the packaging to be somewhat decent. Other than that, no issues whatsoever. Love this on my bakeneko65

GMK keycaps are still really high quality, there are no imperfections and the legends are sharp. One main downside i have with this is that it doesn’t exactly work with 60% layouts… missing a full size right shift and right windows and control keycaps.

I've tried numerous keycap sets in the past couple of years and this is by far the best I've used. They look and feel amazing. Just be wary of the layout, since not all 65% layouts are the same (65% in my case, can be the same for other layouts). It didn't all fit mine perfectly but I can't blame the keycaps since I should've checked beforehand. Substituting some of the keycaps with others does work quite well. Overall quite satisfied with the product!

You definitely get what you pay for, really great keycaps, doubleshot abs so I dont have to worry about the legend on keycaps fading overtime. Little shine will be relevant overtime but it doesnt matter. Also 1 day delivery with amazon prime over waiting 3 weeks for delivery from massdrop with customs fee. I definitely recommend purchasing on amazon.
