So far so good. Very bold, so far, the ink does distribute evenly, just have to make sure you use equal pressure or the corners wont press into the paper.

I scan documents every day. Now that I have used this product for a couple of months I want to share a couple of observations in general about stamping scanned docs. If you are truly storing your paperwork in the cloud than you are going to use a stamp a lot. This stamp image is about twice as big as required. That seems trivial but go back and try to use a document with one of these stamps on it and you see that the page content is dominated with a big glaring red spot if the ink pad is fresh. A desk full of scanned documents becomes a sea of red ink spots. Also bigger stamps us more ink. Again seems trivial, but think about it. An admin sitting there changing ink pads or re-inking this stamp is costing three times as much per hour as the new stamp costs purchased on Amazon with prime free shipping. HELLO STAMP MAKERS: The perfect scanning stamp would be maybe just an inch wide with the words "scanned" in outline letters with a nice big ink pad. You just need to mark the document so it will not get scanned again (hopefully the doc is shortly going to the recycle bin anyway). Free prime shipping makes the purchase an easy decision now that Amazon is charging sales tax. I give this product 4 stars. Received the product exactly when I expected it (Prime shipping) and it is pretty much what I expected despite the large stamp image. The stamp action works just fine though a bit sloppy mechanism makes it seem cheap but hey, it's a stamp, right? I just wanted to mark my docs after scanning so I would know what was already stored in the cloud and this stamp does that just fine.

Following scanning documents to the cloud for safe keeping, stamping the document is best practice regardless if your work flow includes shredding or keeping the paper copy. A shred stamp is also useful
