Bluetooth Receiver/Car Kit, Portable Wireless Audio AUX Adapter 3.5mm Stereo Output (Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, Built-in Microphone) for Home Audio Music Streaming Sound System

I had bought this to use in my Saturn Ion to make my vehicle Bluetooth capable for using my iPhone in the car. Only had it in there for a short time and then got a newer vehicle with the Bluetooth technology in it. Since I have moved the transponder into my room to use with a stereo that doesn’t have Bluetooth capability and it has helped with me being able to listen to my phone through said stereo.

I had asked the question how do you turn the volume up. Because in the description it says you can. So on the side where the plus and the minus are, I assumed holding either the Plus or the minus down would turn up the volume or turn it down. But all that did was change the songs. So I decided to just tap lightly on the plus sign. Several times until you get the volume you want.

Well, the device itself is fine. Ordered two units, one came with no power cord or 1/8 inch wire. The other came with a power cord but no 1/8 inch wire. So don't be surprised if some of these items are missing. Honestly we all probably have these wires lying around, but it's lazy to not include everything it's supposed to come with.

Need relief around the plugin end to fit most phones with covers..

it's 5.0 bluetooth and works well

I've had my TaoTronics receiver for 3+ years now and it's wonderful. My car has no native Bluetooth capabilities, so this simple device saved me hundreds of dollars in installing Bluetooth in my car. Connecting a device is simple. The music sound quality is great. Phone quality is very good - sometimes, people I am talking to say they can't hear me too well and I have to talk fairly loudly, but I only use it for quick phone calls while on the road. I would NOT recommend this for long-term work conference calls while traveling, etc. Battery life is pretty good, too, but I usually leave my receiver plugged in to my car to charge while I am driving (this device is sold separately, I believe).Overall, for daily use while driving: 5/5Occasional short phone calls while driving: 4.5/5Work-related calls or long-term calls: 2/5 (WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR THIS PURPOSE)Overall: 5/5
