Not compatible with Nexus 6
Item is not compatible with a Nexus 6 smartphone. Nexus 6 does not currently have SlimPort capability. I recommend researching Nexus 6 specs online if you're considering trying this adapter. Amazon should revise the description of the item. I was sent two different version of the adapter to try with my Nexus 6, and neither one worked. The adapter should work great as long as you have a compatible smartphone. The seller issued a full refund.
