Autodesk Fusion 360 - The Master Guide

A Perfect Guide for CAD Beginners
I was a beginner in CAD and just starting with Fusion 360. I watched a number of YouTube videos to learn this complex software. The available videos show the tutorials and exercises, but no one is explaining the tools and commands. I mean no one is starting with zero. So, I started searching for a book that can teach the Fusion 360 to a non-CAD user like me, and I found it at the top of Amazon search. As this book is new in the market and I was unsure whether to purchase it or not. I used the Look Inside to know more about the book and I found the first chapter helpful. So, I purchased it right away. After reading this book for more than a week, I can say that this is a book made for users like me. The content in the book is easy to understand and follow. What I do is first read a topic and then practice it on the software until I understand it properly. Most of the tools and commands are explained using a step-by-step method which is easier to follow when I work with Fusion 360 altogether. Also, the exercises are provided with help point which makes practicing more easier for me. This is a perfect book for beginner users. It is not going to teach you everything about Fusion 360 but it will help you to understand Fusion 360 more than others.

Horrible
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, and I have to say this is the worst instructional book I have ever read. Clearly English is not the author’s first language and this is compounded by commonplace grammatical errors on essentially every page. Why? But the real failing of the book is the author’s inability to explain. An example would be page 73 where the thread tool is discussed. The author states “Select the Modeled check box to create a modeled thread on the geometry.” Well yeah, I can figure that out! But what IS a modeled thread? What is the difference between modeled and non-modeled thread? Unfortunately, that information is not to be found. Reading this book only raises more questions than it answers, and why I finally tossed it in the trash out of frustration.

Not awesome, but kind of useful...
There is some helpful info but it’s a little short on grammar. Also the website is no longer active. It does cover all the major 360 areas but is not aligned with the most recent F360 version - still does have some use. Not thoroughly impressed but keeping it anyway.

Not worth the money.
I was not impressed. Description said the book has been updated to the recent fusion 360. I’m just a beginner, and it was apparent that this wasn’t the case. The book itself is all in black and white and is difficult to see. Looks like this was just a copy of a copy. I returned this book. I’ll wait till a proper book of the new fusion 360 comes out. Not worth the 42 dollars.

Not the best book to ow.
Found various errors in the example. Maybe lost in the translation from the authors native language.

Horrible book, no references
The very first example in the book which the author states it's very important, he has no example of how to do this important step, the author does not give the version of the software he's using, and worst of all, the INDEX, is so pathetic, no indexable word has more than a single page entry of reference to it... Immediate refund

Worthless as beginner book
There so many typos and poorly explained exercises it isn't even useable as Kindle Unlimited. I learned more by watching YouTube videos.
