I bought this and a cheap, $35 bracket thing that holds this duck bill to use it on most manual tire changers. I have an old Coats machine. That system works fine but its a bit of a PITA to take on and off every time you move or flip the tire. There are several videos showing guys who welded a short angle iron to a 4-5 foot pipe or fence post so there is no need to remove and replace it. Next time I need to mount tires I'm gonna weld one up and speed/simplify things a bit. The extra leverage with be a plus also. This part is great though. Tough and a big improvement over any other manual tool. Thanks DS

I mounted this on the end of a 4 ft pipe, and use it on my manual machine. Used like this, it makes a perfect tire removal bar. Works not quite as well putting the tire back on, probably have the angle off a little.

Bought second one for a spare, they work great as a up grade on Harbor freight type tire changer. They are tough and easy on tires and wheels.

I was inspired by Barry B's review picture of the wooden headed tool holder he made. As I don't have a machine shop and chunks of steel lying aroundSo I made up a similar tool to replace the harbor freight install bar (which I could not get to work).Got to use it yesterday on my sons car that has 19" wheels. It did take 2 of us to use it, but it worked great!Thanks Barry :)Just made up a cheaper, easier to make tool support for the duck bill head - adding photos
