These cookies—or “biscuits”—are the essential companion for my afternoon tea. They have been part of my daily routine for more than 10 years!

Give me this day my daily McVitie’s!
I tried McVitie’s Digestive Biscuits because I love watching British TV shows and follow abilities Facebook pages and saw repeated references to them. They are much like graham crackers but I can dip them *briefly* in my tea without them falling apart. Briefly is the key word here; they can quickly go soggy and sink to the bottom of the cup of tea. My supermarket had them, but in a small box and a higher price per cookie/cracker. This source gives me far more of them at a lower cost per unit. Accept the fact that the first biscuit/cracker might be partially crumbly from shipping, but the rest are all right. I regularly purchase these and plan to do so. Every day, right after breakfast, I enjoy a hot cup of tea and two McVitie’s. They seem filling somehow.
