Great product, but be careful over powering!
I want to first lead off by saying how much of a great product this is! I have had no issues with this docking station for over a year and a half.I have however have discovered that the power to the docking station and power to a regular laptop could in fact damage your laptop. I had a Samsung Galaxy laptop and fried the mother board, but it's because I had a power source going into the laptop and the docking station. I found out, because my three external monitors were not showing up. That was about 3 months ago.Fast forward to today. I have a new HP laptop and it did the same thing. So, I disconnected the power to the docking station and it utilizes the power to the laptop and everything works.Best thing I can tell you is just troubleshoot the best you can. Again, I love this product and I've been so much more productive because of this product being able to use my laptop and 3 external monitors.

Started out good, then progressively degraded
This seemed like a good alternative to higher-priced options, but over time the unit lost functionality. I used it as a docking station for a Windows laptop (initially a Dell, later a ThinkPad). I have a hybrid schedule (three days in the office, two days at home), so I needed a convenient way to connect the laptop to my home accessories. I powered the laptop through the base station, then connected all my accessories to the base station: speakers (aux cable), 4K webcam (USB-C), Logitech keyboard and mouse (USB-A wireless dongle), and 32-in, 4K monitor (HDMI). Everything worked great at first. I plugged a single USB-C cable into the laptop and I got access to all of my accessories. At some point, maybe 6 months into using the base station, the video pass-through stopped working. Annoying, but I solved the problem by plugging the HDMI cable directly into the laptop. That would not have been an option if I had multiple monitors. And I did try updating drivers both on the base station and on the laptop.Next, a few months ago (a bit over a year into owning the unit), the webcam would intermittently not connect. This was solved by unplugging the webcam's USB-C cable from the unit and plugging it back in. Once I did that, the connection would not drop until I removed the laptop from the base station (i.e. I had to unplug/plug in the camera every time I brought the laptop home from my office). I did test the webcam on another computer to verify the problem was with the base station and not the camera. Finally, within the last few days, the camera stopped connecting at all and the base station failed to power the laptop. The only things that still worked through the base station were the speakers and the mouse/keyboard combo. At that point I gave up and bought an Anker 575.

Works great, Excellent Customer Support
I use this to connect Ethernet, two external monitors and a few USB devices to my laptop. I really like that it has additional ports in the front and a long cable which makes it a very helpful device that lays well on my desk. Update: This product worked great for 5 months, then stopped working. Initially I had gotten no response from the company but tried again and within a few days I had a new item delivered to me which is working excellent.

Update: August 3rd, 2024: All HDMI ports stopped working
I rated this 5 stars when I got it on May 21, 2024. Then, all 3 HDMI ports stopped working. I contacted the seller and after uploading a video of the issue they sent me a new port. New port works fine. It will work on Windows 10 without downloading any special drivers, but if you look online they do have a driver available, which I wish shipped with the port, even if it was just as a QR code that linked to the drivers page. Nice port, looks really nice, and I like that the cord that plugs it into the computer can be detached, unlike on cheaper ports where it is built in.

Works great while it lasts.
Pros: the amount of ports it comes with is phenomenal. All my components had a port and it allowed for expansion. It was easy to setup, basically plug and go right out of the box.Cons: Life of the product. Purchased and set up in 10/2022, used daily for the 1st solid year, sporadically for the majority of the next year, and for the last 6 mos 3-4 days a week. The video throughput capability is gone, and now it's basically bricked.Final thoughts: 5 stars for design and functionality, 2 stars for longevity. I'd give it 3.5 if there were half stars, since 4 seems to high for something that's dead after 2.5 years at this price, 3 stars it is. It was wonderful while it lasted.
