You just don't need any other pen--great for outlining and mixed media work
With a super thin tip, and wider base, these are the perfect pens...you press lightly and you can do very thin details, press a bit more and you'll get wider lines. Because of this, all drawings just look more professional due to the variance in width in your lines as you work on your piece. Better yet, this is water resistant once it's dry so it stays put in time, regardless of what happens to it. Even if you apply matte gel medium over it there will be no running ink or problems...works perfectly and smoothly and easily. With this one you get several colors so it takes care of all kinds of sketching and drawing and outlining needs.

These are quality art markers. I love the very fine points to them. I use them on some of my 3-D cut decks

Light fast test. Yes!
Control card on left. Test card on right hung in window in bright Texas sun for 21 days. ( over 100 degrees every day). No noticeable change in colors. Great job Faber!

Very Cool Pens
I used my Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens for the first time to color a Labrynth / Fractal Design on a Bookmark I created and am very impressed with the color. The Pens also feel great in my hand and have a B Nip with a suprizing range. Excellent. The Pastel Colors and Black ones in All Nip Sizes are great as well from Faber Castle. A lot of fun.

Best pens available, but they are brush tip.
I love the Black PITT artist pens in various tip sizes. I got these because I wanted to level up & add color to my work. They are as quality as the black pack. I love these as well. My only complaint (and it's probably my fault for not reading the description completely...because I already know how much I love these pens) is that they are all brush tips. I like a brush pen for some things, but these make me nervous when coloring in small spaces. But the brush seems to be pretty firm, at least while they are new so I take my time and don't really have a problem 'coloring inside the lines'. I'd like to have these same color pens in a medium tip, but I'm not sure they exist.

Great color, tips
This is the second set I purchased and they were for my daughter. The set I have has lasted me for a while, but I don't use them heavily everyday. I'd say I have had them for over a year now. As far as longevity, I am not sure. Great color, tips, and has not leaked from the pen. I purchased the other sets and am happy with those as well. I'll have this same generic review for all of them.

3 dried up pens
I returned these because 3 of the pens were dried up.

Zwei Gelbtöne (einer geht ins orange), blau, lila, rot, grün Diese Stifte haben eine sehr hohe Farbsättigung. Falls die Spitze z.B. durch einen Konturenstift verunreinigt wird, kann sie durch einen kurzen Strich wieder gesäubert werden. Es kann also einfach drauf los gemalt werden. Eine viel bessere Malqualität im Vergleich zu Filzstiften oder so etwas.
