On the top of the usb ports it says "total 2.4a usb", but the specs clearly say "ports 2.4a each". which is it? 2.4a total is too little, i need each

I would not recommend purchasing this if you are intending on using the USB port I bought these and immediately returned them because the USB port got super hot after only 20 minutes of having a cell phone charger plugged into it this is not something I would recommend if you were trying to power something larger than a cell phone nor would I recommend it even if you were trying to power cell phone. Just to clarify none of the rest of the power strip was being used it was completely empty and the only part that got hot was the USB area.

what is the distance between plugins?

The plugs are fairly close to one another, but should be able to accommodate standard sized plugs without spacing issues. Oversized plugs like for certain larger or specialized electronics like security systems or gaming consoles will have some overhang into other spaces depending on the orientation and placement of the plug and outlet used

why is the green light not working

Green light should be on if the strip has power and the switch is on. Goes off when switch is off.

I don't see the circuit breaker, opposite the usb. isn't the circuit breaker something that needs to be reset if it pops?

The power switch is also the circuit breaker.
