I have a very old and well loved set of Remington Hot Rollers that I used for years and sadly realized it was finally time to retire them. I tried several different brands with 'new' technology with no luck. The ceramic models just didn't stay hot long enough for the curl to take hold.I am very pleased to say that these rollers are just what I wanted. They have the wax core that the old fashioned rollers have, so they heat up fairly quickly (10-15 minutes) and are cool to the touch I don't burn my fingers. I also like the flocked surface to help hold your hair in place, this is a nice upgrade from my old set.These come with plastic clips instead of the metal U shaped clips. They hold well enough, however I prefer using  Conair SPC10X Super Clips, 10 Count .I set my hair and let the rollers cool completely. I spray my hair to set it, then brush it out and respray. My hair holds nice long waves & curls all day with these. I'm thrilled with my new curlers!

I have fine hair that falls right below my shoulders, and these rollers are PERFECT. The velvet-like material on the rolls hold my hair no problem. This product is NOT meant for ladies with thick and/or very long hair. The clips do not come in a holder, but that's nothing a piece of tupperware can't fix. The clips may leave a dent in your hair, so I recommend getting the Conair one-size-fits-all clips  Conair SPC10X Super Clips, 10 Count This is the first set of rollers I have ever used, and I had to use youtube to figure out how to do it, and I'm AMAZED with the results. At night, I use a little bit of gel and a leave-in-conditioner before I dry my hair. During this time I plug in the rollers so they are heated by the time I'm finished drying. Some people complain about this product about not having an "on/off" switch, but is it that big of a deal? It takes two seconds to plug and unplug it. Anyway, I take out the rollers when they're cool, and go to bed. The next morning the curls have relaxed and I brush through it briefly. I have gotten so many compliments. You really can't go wrong with this product if you have fine hair.

I purchased these based upon the great reviews, but the roller set doesn't get hot enough to curl my hair. The rollers can sit on my hair for an hour, and when I remove them, there might be a slight wave at the ends of my hair if I'm lucky. Worse yet, the rollers become tangled in my hair as I try to remove them, so the result is not only do I not have curls, but I wind up short several hundred hairs as well.This is my fault: I waited beyond the 30-day period (I'm out of town for work most weeks and just forgot) to return the curlers that I used three times, but unlike most sellers, this one isn't flexible with their return policy, even for a product that doesn't work. My recommendation? Buy a different set of rollers from a different seller.

You have to use adapter to plug in

I did not realize that this item was set up for European electric instead of North America. So, I have been unable to use the base. I did keep it and use the curlers on an old base I previously had.

Prompt dispatch, but these Remington heated rollers should come with an adaptor already attached to it when it is being sold for UK use, as did the same model that I ordered from another supplier several years ago, and which I was able to transfer to this one; otherwise it should be made very clear in the product description that this only has a 2 pin European plug, and an additional 13 amp adaptor will be required, otherwise it will be useless. So do not purchase without checking with the supplier first whether an adaptor is included.

The heated rollers are not uk compatible they arrived with a two prong plug and they don't even heat upI am unable to print off the pre paid returns postage and therefore have to pay myself for the postageVery disappointed with this productI am even reluctant to give one star this is only for the quick delivery service

Not easy to tell the size of the roller and where they go back within the unit. Heats up quickly and choice of fasteners is really useful
