Very inexpensive and perfect for the job
We rent an apartment above our garage to my mother in law, and suddenly the washer stopped spinning and a terrible smell was coming during the spin cycle. I first thought we might have to buy a new washer. After a quick conversation with someone in the know (an older brother who knows about these things), I took off a few screws on the front of the washer and saw that the belt looked worn. I bought this really inexpensive belt, it came quickly and I put it on in a few minutes. The washer now works perfectly, and I fixed it with a very small effort and less than $10 spent. I was the hero of the day.

Easy Repair
I followed the advice of a YouTube video & swapped out the drive belt on a 30 year old Frigidaire top load washer. Model: GLWS1649AS1. Took about 15 minutes, including the time to gather the tools: Phillips screwdriver, small putty knife to pop the front lid.
