I didn't know you could buy this hook. I was lucky enough to pick up a bed from the side of the road. It was solid wood - don't know why it was being thrown away. The only thing missing on the bed was one of the wide wooden bed railings. So I had my cabinet maker make a new wooden rail and I furnished this part. When he brought the new railing to me, the hook fit like a glove! Now I have a new bed for almost nothing. Glad you can still find pieces like this for old wooden beds. I'm very happy with my purchase.

We were handed down a pottery barn bed and it was missing a few pieces, primarily these. These fit exactly and took no time to install, though I did have to pick up some screws as the pottery barn design used screws instead of pegs(these come with pegs if you need those). They seem to be good quality and we received them quickly. Overall I was thankful they were available so I won't complain too much about the price.

I was missing one of the brackets after moving and couldn’t found a replacement in town at any stores. It fit perfect and sturdy then the ones that came the the bed originally.
