Illustrations were great. The story tired to combine elements from the book and the movie which made it somewhat sloppy and choppy.

{My thoughts} – I am a huge fan of books that retell classic stories. When I ran across this little gem while out shopping at TJ Max I just had to have it for the girls. This is one of my all time favorite stores from when I was a child. It’s timeless and classic and it’s feeds your imagination at a young age.I have not shared this book with my girls at this point. I am planning to give it as one of their Christmas gifts. It has a simplified version of the classic tale within it’s pages. The illustrations are brightly colored and eye catching, which will have the ability to hold a child’s interest and fascination throughout the story.I highly recommend this book for anyone that wants to introduce their loved one to the classic wizard of oz tale. I am hoping that this book will become a favorite between my girls. I know I won’t mind reading it over and over to them!

Took a very long time to arrive but great book my daughter loved it. Just a shame it didn’t arrive in time for world book day

Book is simple for 5 year old and colourful... though there seems to be a misprint as book came with 5 additional pages of irrelevant map / topography....

Grandaughter (5) loved it.
