This is really nice for the price. It's made out of paper (coated with something.....feels like straw) but that's okay. It actually gives the illusion of woven wire. Not using it in an area that I should need to wipe it off frequently, so I'm not concerned with its durability, although I would say it's somewhat fragile. Wish it was a tad less shiny. Perhaps later I will spray a superfine matte shellac coat over top to tone down the shine a bit. Personal preference. Definitely recommend this item....especially for the price. I figured I could use it somewhere if it didn't work out on the dining table.

Absolutely a beautiful addition to the room and makes the table look so classy. It fits my long dining room table perfectly.

Me sorprendió un poco cuando lo recibí al ver que es de un material como de cáñamo (un material artesanal) pero más duro. No me malinterpreten, no estoy diciendo que sea feo. Esta súper bonito, me encanta. Pero considero que lo que menciono es un detalle importante, ya que puede desentonar con tu decoración si no lo tomas en cuenta. Por ejemplo, sería genial para época de verano y para el exterior, con decoración artesanal o folclórica. Suerte que la decoración de mi comedor es un tanto inclinada a lo artesanal. Miren las fotos y el video.Creo que la empresa que los vende debería poner unas fotos con una decoración artesanal y fotos en donde se note más el tipo de material .Update: acabo de comprar los salvamanteles (redondos) . Creo que me equivoqué de color ya que los veo un poco más oscuros que el camino pero no me molesta demasiado. Están muy bonitos.

Great quality. It looked fragile out of the box, I thought it's more decorative than anything else, BUT I have this on the frequently used table for (edit: 8 months now!) and we're not entirely gentle with this, we treat this like any of our other runner, and only take it off to clean... yet it still look great!! No rips whatsoever. The first time I got this, I put gorilla glue on tie ends so they don't unravel and from there I just hoped it'll at least last a month. Durability definitely exceeded my expectation. I ccidentally pulled some strings many times but it's easy to fix it back.I ordered the taupe and gold. The taupe is gorgeous natural brown, almost identical to natural jute twine. The gold is more pale yellow, not an everyday color but great for occasions.Extremely easy to clean. No rips and stains til now.

It looks so beautiful!! As simple as they are they can change the room ambiance in a second and the possibilities of different combinations are huge. Definitely love them. I will order them in silver as well.

Timely delivery came well wrapped. I looked high and low for something to go under the center piece flower vases. Looked at lots of items until I came across these placemats/chargers. Perfect gold color, love the way they are woven, seem sturdy but I'm sure if they got wet they would eventually fall apart. So keep them dry and flat as they will bend. They were just the right addition to complete the centerpiece look I was going for. Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of the completed centerpiece. I used glass vases with iridescent basket filler. Perfect for holding the stem of the flowers. The basket filler makes it easy to wiggle the flower stems down into the vase. And much cheaper than vase fillers. Add water after flowers are added and you have a beautiful centerpiece with the gold placemat.

I got these last night and loved it! They are really light, and it seems to be a thin paper wrapped in this silver foil. The end of one foil was coming undone, so I wrapped it as tight as I could and tucked it into a tight little space so it wouldn't move. No biggie! I would say you'd have to be delicate with this. If you spill food on it, I'd dab it with a damp sponge if wiping it with a napkin didn't work. When storing these, you'll have to lay these flat somewhere and probably not stack other items on top. I've attached a close up of the weave of the material, and how I'm using it with my table. I'll change it up with other chargers as the holidays approach. If you are looking for something that others won't have, this would be it. Very happy!

Ordered this on a whim to look for something different on our Dining room table. And it is different - I like it. While they say it's paper, it actually looks nicer than that. Looks impressive against a dark brown table. Probably would not have the same impact on lighter/oak table. Would also look good with a fabric runner underneath. The only drawback is it took awhile to lay all the way flat - lots of books on it for a few days to weigh it down!

Quería el Dorado y jamás me Fije qué hay tres diferentes colores. Me llegó un color camello, es lazo entrelazado, no es Feo, no es precioso, no creo que se pueda lavar, es totalmente decorativo y creo desechable, lo puse en mi bufetero, puedes ponerlo en la mesa para una fiesta mexicana, un evento al aire libre, con mucha flor y decoración en madera, si quieres comprar otro color verifica elegir bien antes de comprar, para el Precio no está mal,

The table runner is as described. It's definitely a paper product. The image on the screen shows a sheen, don't be fooled, there's no sheen. It's plain flat mat woven paper, similar to a ball of uncoated string / twine appearance.

I had hoped to use this product as a dresser or dining table runner. Essentially it is silver pliable plastic and is not very attractive. Disappointing. Advertised as metallic which would only be the colour .

Se ve muy bonito y no pararse que sea de papel. Solo hay que estirarlo y dejarlo así para que se desenrrolle y quede plano. Cuando leí los comentarios vi que varias personas se quejaban de que el color no era dorado sino paja. En realidad lo pidieron mal, pues ese color es el que aparece por default, pero da la opción de seleccionar, en mi caso fue el dorado y quede muy contenta con la compra.

Exactly What I Expected. I knew that they were a paper product, so that was not surprising, having said that unless they got thoroughly soaked, they can be used over and over again. Only thing that would make these better, would be if they were a vinyl type product
