iFixit Prying and Opening Tool Assortment - Electronics, Phone, Laptop, Tablet Repair

Bought this mainly for working on small electronics, and it’s been really useful so far. The tools are sturdy, fit into tight spots well, and don’t feel cheaply made like some of the off-brand kits. Makes opening controllers, phones, and other electronics a lot easier without damaging the plastic. Definitely a good starter kit if you like doing your own electronics repairs.

After three decades of electronics work, I finally got a dedicated spudger kit. The iFixit assortment (spudger, halberd spudger, opening tool, plastic cards, and six opening picks) feels solid and well‑made. I used the pseudo‑guitar‑pick and both spudgers to open a stubborn laptop for an M.2 Wi‑Fi upgrade—no issues at all. Having these tools on hand eliminates the need to hunt for old credit cards or picks. Highly recommend for anyone who does frequent repairs.

Great replacement parts for my iFixit essentials tool kit as my spudger some of the picks were getting worn out after years of use. 10 bucks for all this seems pretty fair and I noticed no difference in quality compared to my other iFixit tools (very good quality!).

I picked up this set a few years ago, and it’s one of those tool kits where, when you need it, you really need it. The little football-shaped blue tools are easily the best part of the set and are the ones I reach for most. The black pencil-style tools feel cheaper and honestly are not all that helpful, but the overall assortment still makes this kit worth owning. You get enough useful pieces for phone, laptop, stickers, and small electronics work, and it’s handy to have them all in one place when a repair comes up. Not every tool in the set is a winner, but the useful pieces are good enough that I would still buy it again.

I was struggling to open up a 2020-era laptop to change the clock battery - I didn't want to use a metal screwdriver and scratch the case, but the plastic screwdrivers and other tools I had wouldn't budge the case open at all. Well, these plastic picks did the job perfectly! I was afraid they would bend or break, but so far they slid right into the case and I was able to pry it open pretty easily. The other pry bars were useful in holding the case open while I worked the next section with the pick. I could see where these might eventually bend or break, especially if you force them or aren't careful enough. But overall this set is a great deal and a must-have if you're working on laptops or phones, especially those made in the last 10 years or so.

I mainly bought it for the halberd spudger and the cards but it's always nice to have extra pry tools, they work really well and the cards are stiffer then you'd think but not too much. For 10$ that's cheaper then their website and gets here faster. Not much else to say other then if you need tools like this then go right ahead.

I had generic low quality tools, endedup delaying my project to repair a cellphone for a week. You will be AMAZED how different a prying tool from iFix it can be to a generic brand. These do not bend on first use and their superior density makes a ton of difference on leaverage. Just buy the set, you will use it for everything anyways.

Picks are great. I mainly am working with HP laptops, and I have not found a case where the other tools are needed yet. These picks are pretty durable also, you get some chipping on the edges, but I have yet to have one snap.

Buen producto. Lo he usado recién para poder abrir un portátil y es muy útil para poder quitar la tapa sin romper los clips, el "lápiz" para poder desconectar los cables de tarjeta madre, etc. Mucho mejor que fiarse de una tarjeta bancaria que ya no utilizas
