Amazing results for me!!!
Okay. Like everyone else and their mom, over the past 4 months I've picked up a few hobbies, or Quaran-talents as I call them. This was the summer of hair experiments, haha. Believe it or not, before Dark Star, I had used Atomic Turquoise and Voodoo Blue (I have reviews and pics for those too). I then went to this after naturally stripping (vitamin C powder mixed with anti-dandruff shampoo) and some more bleach. Manic Panic is truly THE best! I leave it on my dry hair with a shower cap for 2 hrs. For people saying it does not work, I'm not sure why. I naturally have dark brown hair. My before pics were super grown out highlights that were done last November. I had to bleeeach my hair a total of 3 times to get it to level 9ish blonde. Hair broke off and I had to trim it twice. I used a toner and the gray/ silver color I got is amazing. 2 days later I mixed a few drops of Voodoo Blue with a ton of conditioner for a Blue/Silver look. I only left it on for 10 minutes... their blue colors are powerful!! Manic Panic is a really fun and inexpensive way to mix it up. I've already received SO many compliments from coworkers over virtual meetings!I hope this review and pictures are helpful in making a decision regarding purchasing this product. If it was, please let me know below :)

Fun to use. Doesn't last long
This product really doesn't work on natural gray hair. It is easy to use and the color is great. I expected the package to be larger than it was.

Pretty alright
With everyone experimenting on their hair this quarantine I thought I’d try this. I had my hair lightened at the salon mid March before the chaos happened because I naturally have brown/almost black hair and so.. I ended up doing an at home lightening a couple more times within the last month along with using a toner. Therefore, ending my hair color with a mix of a level 7-9 on the color scale. I am not a professional hairdresser and didn’t want to lighten more than my hair could take so I was fine with that and some brassy colors because it started out like that anyways, but now a little brighter. With that, Decided to use the semi permanent that didn’t contain harsh chemicals. And I can tell you that I’m satisfied with it. I didn’t wash my hair or blow dry before hand as followed but my hair was fairly clean. Definitely had to use a little over one case cause I do have thick, medium length hair. I also left it in for two hours, could have left it in a little longer for the sake of processing but the areas that were lighter to begin with did turn gray. I picked this specific color cause the “slight” purple tone in a gray dye and the purple would cancel out the brass that I had in my hair and it did, which I’m very happy about. The level 7 parts of my hair are now an ash brown rather than a brassy orange/brown color. So I would recommend this if you’re experimenting, don’t wanna damage your hair because it did leave my hair pretty soft after, have the time and patience to wait to see how your hair processes.

Great for light/medium silver toned bleached hair!
This stuff worked great for me! I'm half white and half Asian so my hair falls somewhere in the middle as far as texture goes and I often find most toning/purple products don't do anything for the yellow brassiness I get with my bleached hair. So I was curious to see how this worked and I was very pleasantly surprised! It gave my level 9 bleached hair a light/medium cool tone silver shade. Definitely not a white silver, but somewhere in the light-medium spectrum if that makes sense. It knocked down a lot of the yellow and gradually faded to a very bright silver. I bet if you cut it with a 1:2 ratio of conditioner and dye, it would dilute it and make the silver tone less deep.Either way, I really enjoy this product and I'm super glad I found it.

Great for natural gray and silver hair
I have natural “gray” hair (white hairs mixed with my faded natural medium ash brown). I have not bleached or altered my natural color. Wanted to give a review for all the silver-haired folks out there. This toner worked really nicely to give my hair a darker tone and remove the yellowish tones. I did an ombré effect by just toning the last four inches of my hair. Looks good and blends well.I’ll update once I’ve washed my hair to explain how it fades. If it fades out completely, I’ll try my whole head of hair. But don’t want to try that unless I’m confident it’ll wash out like their other toners do (blue steel and virgin white).

Cheap
0 Star if I could. Waste of money. This is the second color I have purchased that did absolutely nothing on my hair. Artic Fox has 0 issue, this shouldn't. Very disappointed

awesome product
I love manic panic and in my opinion is the best brand if you want vibrant colors that last. easy to use, can use straight out of the jar with no other products needed. colors last and like I said are very vibrant. colors are always more vibrant if you pre bleach your hair first. the lighter the hair the more vibrant the color. and the best part is you can leave this stuff on your hair for as long as you want to and it will never damage it. I usually leave it on over night and then wash it out in the morning and the color lasts for weeks.
