Great outdoor ideas
This book has awesome ideas for things to do with students outside. I have used it with my middle school students, but it could easily be used with elementary students as well.

Fabulous Gift
We LOVE this book for our kiddos so much we bought some as gifts for their cousins. A beautiful and easy to follow guide for the nature lover in all! Our 9 and 11 year old niece and nephew used it the whole time we were in Maine.

A wonderful book for children nature explorers
Perhaps it is a skill that is being lost, or at least for children living in large cities, however the author mentions that any tree or garden can be explored. In the content you can find magnificent explorer children’s texts, some almost poetic that moved me.The author details how to carry out well-established exploration and observation strategies, so that children can educate and open their senses to details that would otherwise be overlooked, while the child uses his innate capacity for scientific curiosity and amazement. .I consider that the practice of core routines helps children develop discipline, patience, self-control, trust, scientific thinking, record of observations (development of written language skills), respect and love for nature, knowledge and could even discover new species, patterns and animal behaviors, recognize that we are part of the natural world ... all this seems deeply valuable and the most natural, fun and integrative way to learn. My sincere appreciation to the Publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to review the book

Simplistic
It’s an okay book. Not terribly exciting and without sounding offensive or hurtful, a book for true city dwellers without ANY experience or concept of nature.I bought it for my 8 year old son, he said it was boring.

Tremendous fun and packed with ideas
Bought for my very little environmentalist granddaughter. I had a flick through before posting and am so impressed with it. Beautifully presented, full of interesting facts and ideas to nourish her thirst for the natural world.
