15051 Bidex perforating/Scoring Blade Set for Personal/Professional Rotary Trimmers, Blue

Great blades, I've tried both the scoring and perforating blades and found they work well. Solid value, would purchase again.

I really liked this blade although returned the cutter as I make stickers and thin cuts constantly jammed it but the scoring blade worked great.

I needed a perforating wheel for my Carl rotary photo trimmer. After using it to perforate a mail piece I was very impressed with how easy to use and with the result on that piece. I would highly recommend the perforating wheel as well as this trimmer. I have been able to easily order any parts (the ones that wear out from use and are designed to be replaced) and quickly get them at a reasonable price for this product.

I should have bought these years ago! I've had my Carl trimmer for years and, initially, purchased several of the decorative blades. While I was aware of the "perforating" blade and knew what it would do, I didn't know what the "scoring" blade was for. But recently, while ordering replacement cutting mats, I decided to go ahead and purchase this Perforating/Scoring Blade Set (Amazon's price is too good to pass up). Wow! I was really surprised at how professional the results of the perforating blade are, and I realize now that I could have used the scoring blade many times in the past! It makes a perfect fold line (very professional-looking, as well) in card stock, so that when you fold it, there is no resistance and no weird, crumpled, or lumpy areas near the crease. These 2 blades do a more professional and perfect job than any of my other blades. The perforated blade does such a super job that after tearing along the perforated line, you can barely feel or see that the edge was perforated - very smooth with no ragged edges.

Good quality alternative wheels for the Carl trimmer. Same as the actual trimmer, not for big projects but excellent for home decorating or smaller office projects. A good value.

As a graphic designer and crafter, I had the chance to use these quite a bit since I received them a few days ago. Both blades will prove to be invaluable and will save a lot of time, which is very important. Both blades work perfectly on standard weight papers as well as heavier paper stock. The scoring blade offers a clean fold. When I tried the perforating blade on a piece of cardstock, I found the pieces separated with little effort. Excellent additions to my 11x18" Carl 12218 Bidex.

The blades are very easy to change out and the perforating blade is exactly what I was looking for. It does a great job, cuts through 4 sheets of index paper!

These work great with my Carl cutter. I love that they come in a protective box, they'll last a lot longer protected instead of just rattling around in a box. You do have to put a bit of pressure into the blade when making the score, especially in thicker cardstock, but it does the job.
