Update!!! Fixed
UPDATE: the ignition 2 wire needs to be securely connected. I had to solder mine for it to work properly and to avoid transmission issuesI put 3 stars in hopes that you find this.I got it installed and it works great, BUT when I use it, it causes shifting issues in the transmission in my 2006 silverado. It causes shift solenoids to stay open and failure to shift. I removed it and no more issues. I double, triple, and quadruple checked the wires. It's installed correctly per the instructions. Remote start is great but not worth losing a transmission over.

6 wires to splice into, that's it.
Bought this one because they were out of stock with the plug and play kit. Install is simple. After removing the under dash covers the install instructions wire diagram makes this a fairly easy job.Took about an hour to locate and tap into the proper wires, but I made quick disconnect pigtails for my install and that took more time.Installed on a 2007 Silverado CLASSIC, and everything works like factory, from locks, lights, horn, etc as well as the remote start.Take your time, triple check what wires you are tapping into, and will be fine with this DIY kit.

Was a headache at some points with the installation. But tech support walked me right thru it. It was money well spent

Great remote start!
Had troubles downloading instructions and customer service was quick to respond even on New Years Eve. Product was easy to install with directions and works great! It will start my pick up from a long ways away. Have been impressed so far.

Not for 2006 Silverado 1500
2006 Silverado 1500 Wires were not colors was told in instructions and instructions had acc, and ignition 1 mixed up. Starter wire was incorrect. I stopped at that point and did not even install as I was afraid it would mess the truck up.

Good product. Simple but intimidating install
The product works great! Install was intimidating but pretty straight forward. Read the instructions several times and have them handy!
