I think I have always been intimidated by cooking with ground beef. I am that mom who forgets to leave it out overnight to defrost. I am that mom who pulls out the meat from my freezer an hour prior to cooking dinner, or tossing it in the microwave to defrost. But anyone who cooks like this knows how it is still frozen on the inside and unevenly cooks the edges.... so when we stick it in the pan, we spend countless minutes scraping the cooked stuff off one side, flip the meat, scrape off the cooked meat, repeat a thousand times. Then wrestle and stab at the long strips of meat on the pan to try and get them to cook evenly and get a good texture- a loosing battle. Let me tell you about this simple tool and how it has changed me. Like a master chef, I can now chop up the meat. Yes, it still has to do the little cook one side, flip, dance; but now it cuts sooo much time out of the equation. Those little strips of unmanageable meat are now history and I get perfectly, evenly cooked, ground beef each time! When I do remember to defrost it hours before, cooking the meat is a snap. I am really impressed with this little tool and how much it has changed my mentality when cooking ground beef. I now cook ground beef two to three times as often. It is no longer an intimidating task that will take an hour. I am a cast iron momma, so my only wish is that this came in a metal. So far, the ground meat chopper has had no problems with melting or warping. I am able to chop meat easily and scrape the sides well, so I don't even need a spatula to cook with, however I do call upon my serving spoon when it is time to eat. It cleans up very nicely and is top rack dishwasher safe. It is very attractive to look at as well, so it lives on my counter in plain sight. I love it- it is one of those kitchen items I will now always have around.

I've bought several of these over the years from different brands and this one takes the cake! It's a good weight which makes chopping meat feel easy, doesn't feel flimsy at all, it's very good quality and feels good in the hand. It's the perfect size fins, the others on the market would get meat stuck but the design on this one is flawless. It's more than worth the price. I'd buy this as a gift it's so good! If you cook ground beef this is a must have tool. I get excited when I find great quality gadgets and this one has me stoked to cook! If you're looking for a meat chopper definitely buy this one. I promise you will not regret it!!

Works great when separating hamburger for tacos

I bought after it being recommended by a favorite content creator. I didn’t really realize that it’s useage was rather one dimensional. For me, there’s no use using this thing to break up ground beef if I still have to pull out a spatula to cook it. Might as well just break it up with the spatula. The one thing it does shine at is breaking up roasts/chicken or the like in a crock pot type meal. It works well to break apart tender meat and incorporate it into a sauce/stew. As far as pan meals, it becomes just another utensil with angles and nooks and crannies to be cleaned on top of what you’d normally use. For me, that’s a no.

For years I’ve been using a flat edge wooden spoon to break up ground beef, this tool does the job in a fraction of the time. It’s magic.

Sturdy and well-made, makes short work of a pan of ground meat. Surprisingly, not many cooks have one of these in their kitchens, which is a shame considering how useful they are. Comfortable handle, and priced right.

I don’t know how I ever lived without this thing. It makes hamburger much easier to cook. It’s easy to clean and very sturdy.

We have had our Ground Meat Chopper for a long time now and it is as good today as the day we first used it. It is superb and this review is an update to say so. That it is no longer in stock is extremely sad because everyone should have one. Initially I could not bring myself to buy the professional version of this product because of the cost and intermittent use so I was rather apprehensive about this one. For us it does a perfect job separating the mince and we are more than happy with it. Very highly recommended!

La verdad me sorprendió no sabía que podía existir algo así. La compre para probarla pues mi esposa hace lasaña de carne y es un problema el deshacer la carne despues de cocerla para colocarla y hornear. Pues éste aparato lo solucionó. No se como Pero va dándole la vuelta y lo del fondo lo saca a la superficie y viceversa. Al final sólo es cuestión de darle un último toque y ya. Aún no encuentro la función de la parte roja pero es ampliamente recomendada.
