Works great as advertised however the power brick heats up very fast and very hot which is very concerning

This does the job as intended but they need to find a way to adjust the magnifying part. It swings and is bumped all the time because there no way to stabilize it. If I had known the magnifying part was so small I would have selected another product.

Not really sturdy. Had issues assembling it. Very complicated. I regret this purchase

Updated Review :I had to update this review base don my experience. The level of customer service I received after the original post was extraordinary! Within a day or so of posting I received a message of apology for the inconvenience and options to receive a replacement free of any further charge. I can't say enough positive things about the level of customer care I have received. The replacement lamp was delivered and is functioning great. I will try to update again at the 6 month mark on the status of the lamp.Thanks for setting a new standard in customer care!!!Original Review :Worked great...for 6 months. After several weekends of research, we decided on this magnifier lamp for our friend who is almost completely blind. The magnifier is a good size comparatively for the price and creates a clear viewing area. The light settings for brightness and color are a nice feature. We set up the lamp next to her couch, where she usually sits. It is easy to adjust to various positions and can be collapsed to the side so she can get up from the couch. The base of the lamp is heavy but it will tip over if pulled on from too far away.The power source was unexpected. The power cord ends in a USB connector that plugs into a power box. The power box has a standard Edison plug. Not sure why it isn't just a regular Edison power cord. The light did stop working for some reason within two months of purchase. I contacted the seller, Psiven, and they immediately wrote back and apologized for any inconvenience. They let me know the lamp is under a 12-month warranty and sent a replacement lamp which arrived in two days. No questions asked and we did not have to send back the faulty lamp. You can't ask for more in regards to customer service and so far the replacement lamp is working fine. Because the light is good for the price and the customer service was excellent and seamless, that is why I am giving 5 stars.

This magnifying light was SO easy to set up! I took it to work in the box, and it was literally 2 minutes and I was done. I am anxious to use it. It will serve my needs when facial waxing and doing extractions.

This item is shipped setup as a desk light, to convert it to a floor lamp you need to move the base bolt to another link, which is not easy. There are NO instructions to be found on the internet about this. the bolt was so tight I had to use a wrench to get it off, which made me wonder if I was doing the right thing. If they had shipped the bolt as a separate part it would have been fine. I like the lamp but when I ordered another one for my Mom I got a different brand because the instructions are so bad!

I purchased this one because of adjustments and being able to use it while sitting on the couch to embroider. Worked great for 3 months. Then the buttons quit working. Now I have to unplug it from the wall which is NOT convenient. At this moment I would say save your money.
