Great for price but with issues EDIT 7/24/17
EDIT 7/24/2017:After being contacted by seller with an offer to try replacement batteries and accepting I am updating my review. The new batteries that were sent seem to work better and have better battery life than the first set that arrived with the charger. However the issue with having to place the battery in the charger backwards in order to charge still remains. This is expected as the charger seems to be wired backward. I am adding a star to my review as the new batteries work better and the customer service with this company seems to be pretty good. I still can't give the product a full 5 stars due to the issue with the charger.Overall still a good buy and worth the money spent.Original Review:Seeing as it seems to be hard to find the Sony G-Type batteries now, this seems to be the only feasible options to replace the battery that came with my DSC-HX9V. The price for 2 batteries, wall charger, and car adapter was great but that alone doesn't make up for some of the shortcomings. Like other reviewers I have had to put the batteries in backwards in order to get them to charge. This isn't a huge deal except that I feel that it is a pretty big design flaw. Also the actual battery life on these doesn't seem to be as good as I remember from the OEM battery. On adding a fresh battery the camera states that I have about 3 hrs of shoot time but after I start shooting that time drops considerably. I would say with constant shooting I get about 45 min or so. Having 2 batteries in the pack helps but still seems to be somewhat short. Would buy again because of the price, but cannot really give a 4 or 5 review on this product.PROS:Price2 BatteriesCar adapterCONS:Having to reverse batteries in chargerBattery Life

New pep for your old-school camera
I still use my Sony DSC-W150 8 Mpixel Cybershot camera quite often. However, the one battery I bought with it many years ago was not holding a charge very long, and was taking longer and longer to recharge. I found that the new aftermarket NP-BG1 batteries were quick to charge in my old charger as well as the new one provided in your kit (approximately 30 minutes?) and both are compatible with my camera in every way (proper fit, voltage, capacity, etc.). I held off writing this review for approximately 1 week to see how the batteries maintained a charge...the one in the camera, while not heavily used, still is at maximum according to the camera indicator. The second battery is also still at full capacity after 1 week in storage. This has certainly solved my problem of old, tired batterie(s).One thing I noted in several reviews was a comment that the charger was designed such that you had to insert the battery upside down so that the contacts would line up properly. There may have been a redesign recently, since this is not the case with the charger I received--you place the battery in the charger with the flat side in contact with the charger and slide it into place, the same way that the original Sony charger works. Both chargers have two flat prongs for a 110VAC outlet that rotate out from the body (it wasn't entirely clear from the product description), which is how I expect to use the product. However, I like the option that the car charger provides, with a small round connector provided on the charger (which I haven't tested yet).

excellent set of batteries & charger; works great
I have an old Sony pocket-sized digital camera that uses a rechargeable Sony NP-BG1 Type G lithium ion battery. The battery is old and not holding a charge very well anymore, so I ordered this Powerextra set of batteries and charger as a replacement. I could have bought a battery alone, but I wanted an extra battery and charger for backup. Quite honestly, it really doesn’t cost that much more to do this, and this set still ends up costing almost half that of a single Sony-branded replacement battery. This set arrives very nicely boxed with each battery not only in its own box but in a nice, plastic storage case to boot. The charger is designed to be plugged into AC, but a cable is provided that enables you to use the charger with a 12-volt socket if desired. The set even came with a nice lens cleaning cloth, which I was not expecting.I charged up both batteries with this charger, and they work great. They function just like the Sony OEM battery. If you have a digital camera that uses the NP-BG1 type G rechargeable battery you cannot go wrong buying this set. It is a tremendous value and worth every penny.

Only one battery worked properly
I bought this battery pack because my old batteries weren't lasting more than 30 minutes after a full charge. I read the reviews I saw that people were commenting how the batteries lasted hours. After I received them I put them to charge, and noticed that they showed that they were completely charged so I went ahead and used one of my batteries and that one did work for about 2 hours while film filming non stop. When I use my second battery I noticed that that battery only lasted 30 minutes after being fully charged. So my dissatisfaction is with my the second battery since it only last 30 minutes even though it was fully charged. I recharged it again and gave it a second go and unfortunately it did not last more than 30 minutes again. I thought maybe it was just a one-time fluke but it was not. I got a bad battery.Update after contacting the seller they are sending a replacement for the defective battery.
