Decades ago I sold thousands of aluminum tuning forks that looked exactly like this one to medical students, other students, and doctors, at a much much lower price. I bought them directly from a factory in Illinois and never received a complaint. Doctors use them to test the ability to sense vibration; this is impaired by B-vitamin deficiency, which can be caused by various medical conditions and dietary problems. For massage an electric vibration device is more effective.
