Q: Body weight limit -will they bend under 300lbs

I weigh 260 and have had no issues with bending. As heavy duty as the bottoms are I cant imagine ever bending the spikes.

Q: Why aren't these offered in size small?

Medium fits down to size 4.5 womens boot. How small is your foot?

Q: Can these be used for jetty fishing?

I’m not quite sure what jetty fishing is- or the terrain that is on the jetty, but I would imagine that if the ground was soft and you needed added traction, they could work. I wouldn’t use them on rock as I don’t think they would bite into the rock for traction. They are great in icy terrain though. Hope that helps.

Q: Are they suitable for clay, ice, snow mix terrain? thinking about Bryce Canyon in March where trails can be partly icy, partly wet/dry

I’ve used mine extensively for winter hikes in the Colorado front range foothills. They are outstanding on ice and deep or packed snow. They are neutral on packed earth or gravel trails, so I don’t bother to take them off when conditions are mixed. I don’t use them on pavement to void damaging the micro-cleats. The only terrain I don’t recommend them for, where I will remove them, is medium-to-large rocks. Yes, the rocks could damage the cleats, but my main concern is that I’ve had them catch on the rocks, so a bit of a hazard. They are actually pretty easy to put on (and to get properly centered) and take off.
