SKYJO ACTION

Skyjo has become one of our absolute favorite card games, and it’s now something my family plays every time we get together. What started as a casual game night pick quickly turned into a full-blown tradition — especially during the holidays. We bring it out after dinner, and before we know it, we’ve played for hours with everyone laughing, teasing, and getting way too competitive in the best way. The game itself is easy to learn, but still has just enough strategy to keep everyone engaged. Whether you’re playing with kids, adults, or grandparents, Skyjo works for everyone. The rounds move quickly, so nobody feels bored or stuck waiting for their turn. What I love most is how Skyjo brings people together. It’s one of those rare games that feels fresh every time you play it. There’s a mix of luck, timing, and smart choices that keeps each round fun and unpredictable. We’ve had so many funny moments — big comebacks, dramatic reveals, and the occasional groan when someone flips a double-digit card. The cards are good quality, the scoring is fast and simple, and the whole thing is super portable, which makes it easy to bring to family gatherings, vacations, or holiday parties. If you’re looking for a game that gets everyone involved and creates genuine fun, Skyjo is an amazing pick. It has truly become a staple in our family traditions, and I can’t recommend it enough.

It’s an exponential improvement over regular SKYJO. If you like SKYJO, you’ll love this a lot more! The Action card editions and wild stars are a great addition. We add these modifications also: 1. We take out the ones that you use against other opponents, so nobody gets mad, lol 2. With two or three players ( or more if you have two editions—or if you already have regular SKYJO just mix extra cards in) we play two layouts apiece. 3. We shuffle in the Action cards with the regular numbered cards, so they will show up in one’s boards or will be drawn. If it gets turned over on your board, you can keep it and use it when you are ready to replace it with a different card. Action cards discarded unused can be picked up, but Action cards that are used can’t be picked up by the next player and used a second time. Totally fun! 😃

Such a fun and simple game. It was introduced to me and I have since introduced it to several others. Always a hit. I keep it in the vehicle incase I get the opportunity to play!

We were introduced to this game during a chance encounter at an airport, and it has quickly become a favorite in our family. Players young, old, and in-between can get the gist of the game rapidly, yet there is sufficient complexity to sustain interest over the longer term. There is only one minor problem that could be easily fixed in a new version: the backs of the action cards are printed the same as the playing cards, so you have to be careful to keep them separated. If there were a different pattern on the action cards, it would be perfect. We like it enough to have given away one copy to visiting friends and have immediately ordered a new copy for ourselves.

This is such an easy game to learn and so much fun for the entire family. The quality of the cards are very durable. Our family plays this game consistently and it is easy for all ages. One of the best purchases on games ever.

Aunque Skyjo Action es la evolución del juego original Skyjo, el objetivo principal sigue siendo el mismo: tener la menor puntuación posible al final de la partida. La diferencia respecto al original es que en esta versión se añaden cartas de acción y cartas estrella con unas funciones concretas y permiten atacar a los contrincantes o en su defecto, salvarte a tí mismo. ✅ Lo mejor: Las nuevas cartas de acción permiten hacer varias cosas, como intercambiar cartas con otros jugadores, jugar dos turnos seguidos o mirar cartas ocultas del mazo. Esto lo que te permite es interactuar más con el resto de jugadores que con el original y lo hace más dinámico. También tiene las nuevas cartas estrella, que funcionan como comodines para poder completar filas o columnas de manera más simple y así poder eliminar números altos (recordemos que el objetivo es tener la menor puntuación posible al final de la partida). El juego también permite quitar las cartas nuevas especiales y jugar al clásico sin problema si te es más sencillo. A parte de esto, es bastante fácil de aprender a jugar, a la primera partida de prueba todo el mundo ya sabe, lo que lo hace ideal para reuniones familiares o con amigos. La caja es compacta y fácil de transportar y las cartas tienen un acabado de calidad que, aún no siendo muy gruesas, aguantan muy bien el barajado y uso. ❌ Lo peor: ​Al haber cartas de acción se pierde un poco la parte de estrategia del original y el factor suerte aumenta. Además, si has jugado antes al clásico es posible que está versión te pueda marear al principio por las nuevas opciones y prefieras jugar de manera más simple. Aunque es un juego de cartas y la caja es pequeña, cada jugador necesita espacio para su matriz de 12 cartas (3 filas x 4 columnas). A partir de 5 o 6 jugadores, preparado espacio porque... ¡necesitaréis una mesa muy grande! 9️⃣ Conclusión: Si no tienes ninguno de los dos, esta es una buena opción porque te permite jugar de las dos formas. El juego es muy divertido y siempre que sale en una sobremesa es un éxito asegurado y generalmente, el que no lo conozca de antes, posiblemente acabe comprando uno, como fue nuestro caso... ¡Recomendadísimo!

Le jeu est facile à prendre en main et les parties sont dynamiques. Il fonctionne très bien aussi bien en famille qu’entre amis et crée rapidement une bonne ambiance autour de la table. Points positifs : • Règles simples • Parties rapides et amusantes • Convient à tous les âges • Très convivial Avis final : Très bon jeu de cartes, idéal pour partager de bons moments en famille ou entre amis.

Questo gioco di carte è un ottimo passatempo. Ottimo per consolidare nei bambini il concetto di numero maggiore e minore. Un passatempo per tutta la famiglia.
