I gave this to my 5 year old granddaughter for her birthday, wanting a purely fun activity to go along with the books, puzzle, and hand knitted sweater I gave her. She loves all of those things, but I wanted something special, “just for fun”. I had given her some magic sand when she was 1 ½ and she still plays with it, so this “hybrid” of that and slime seemed perfect. Today I learned that she played with it for over 5 hours the first time she tried it! I can’t wait to play with it together, and to see just what she loves about it. My daughter appreciates the easy clean up, and by following the instructions on the box that any clothing that shows color transfer be washed within an hour, there was no staining. It is a win-win all around! Well done!

My kids love slimes, play doh, flarp, kinetic sand, and the like. So I was excited for this as a good activity on an indoor day. But the sand was clumpy, kind of like partially dry cookie dough, but barely stuck to itself. Odd color, too, it didn’t look like the product picture at all. We had to throw it out, It was not fun to play with at all. Both kids (3 and 6) were very disappointed.

This sand feels like velvet. It is very satisfying to play with. It is also an easy clean up! My kids get so excited when I bring it out to use for sensory play. Thank you

So if you're looking for something like kinetic sand I would say that this is NOT the same. On the plus side the glitter was super fun and my kids loved the intense pink color. That same pink color bonded to them and did not stay on the "sand." Also got on clothes. Easy to wash off of the floor and table, but this stuff sticks together even more poorly than kinetic sand and has less stretch. Sort of just falls apart after a mild attempt at adherence. Certainly a fun experience for my toddlers, but the amount of cleanup was massive with pink color on everything even after the sand was cleaned up and the stretchiness was underwhelming.

Doesn’t hold together as well as other brands, but good colour selection and easy cleanup.

Totally worth the price. No mess sand, genuis. Very easy to clean up. My granddaughter and I played with this on my bed. Took a dry cloth and just dusted the sand back into the bag. No mess, no fuss. Love this product.

I don't write many reviews, but I'm hoping to save parents (or anyone for that matter) time/$/disappointment. This has zero stretch & feels nothing like sand, really. We could do nothing with it. We couldn't use molds, couldn't it "warm it in our hands" first, just nothing made it so that we were able to play with it in any sort of way. Unless I just got a bad batch. We only opened 1 of the 2 bags. Didn't feel the need to open the 2nd since the 1st was horrible & we were going to return it. If you get this, I sure hope you have better luck (and a better time) than we did!! Good luck!
