Intrepid International Riding Crop

The riding crop gets the job done. My one complaint is the handle strap is disproportionate to the actual handle so I can't comfortable put my wrist through the strap and grab the handle. Maybe there is a way to adjust it but I just never cared that much to even try. If you want something that can be fun or a bit more serious (a bit, not too much) than this is a good purchase. Otherwise, it works great, was shipped quickly and arrived discreetly.

Oh the quality of this riding crop is unbelievable for the price! I mean its got a colicone grip, a wire insert to keep it stiff and the leather quality very high. I only bought this for my stage shows with my rock band, but I do have a background in equestrian sports and this is a very durable, high quality riding crop and the color is just right because it's eye-catching but not too flashy. I can use this to shock my audience on stage and get my stubborn horse to run while off stage. Wonderful piece of equipment!

A bit disappointed the package didn't include three crops. Probably our mistake, but the picture is very misleading when choosing my selection. The picture shows three crops for the one price. We would have bought a different product if we knew it only included one crop.

I'm rating this item primarily on appearance rather than function, as it was purchased as a prop for a costume. I needed to find a maroon riding crop simply because it's meant to match the uniform worn by the character, but most riding crops that I saw which came in reds were bright primary reds. This was the first one I saw with an option for maroon. It was around the right length and didn't cost too much, so I went for it. While not exactly like the weapon wielded by the character in question, it's certainly close enough for costume use. I am definitely pleased with this purchase.

This is a great little crop. I use it for "other" purposes, but it has a nice swing to it and a fabulous sting. It is precise, light, and an excellent length. Everything about it feels of good quality, except the wrist strap, which feels a bit flimsy. It hasn't broken yet, so I'll update my rating and post if it breaks.

Item was damaged when I received it, some of the rubber detail on the handle seems to have been marred somehow. Besides that (and it won't happen to everybody), the whip was better than I expected, has a ton of detail, very sturdy.

This is a fantastic crop, well made and provides a good sharp snap for those who want to train their 'pony' in domestic situations. A good solid sting and the handle loop works great. Absolutely love it, will be buying another it's so good I don't want to be without if this one gives out in a few years.

For the money, this has been one of the best crops I have ever owned.
