Medela Ice Pack for Breast Milk Storage, Contoured Shape Designed to Fit Breastmilk Bottles, for On The Go or Traveling Moms

I am impressed with how long this ice pack stays cold. It lasts my entire workday while I pump at work and keeps my milk cold. I put this in a small bag with 4 glass 6oz bottles and it fits with them well. I put the entire bag in a mini fridge and feel the ice pack would last even longer that way. I am putting freshly pumped milk in with this pack and it chills my milk. The ice back is solid, not flexible and has had no leakage.

I almost didn’t buy these because I was so tired of all the baby stuff we acquired in the first three months of my kid’s life, but I’m glad I did because we have used them almost every day and they are far more effective than ice or the other ice pack we had. Our cooler is a little bigger than the size of two of these together, so we put a rubber band around the pair that we bought and have our kid’s 5:00am bottle in the cooler in our bedroom, saving us a trip downstairs when she wakes us at that unholy hour. It keeps the milk cooler than our fridge for those 6-8 hours that we sleep. I’ve also used them on business trips to schlep my breastmilk across the country. When they start to warm up, I can get them back to frozen by placing a plastic bag of ice on top of them. And they fit cans nicely, so we’re starting to use them for non-milk purposes as the summer heats up. Baby stuff is a racket, but these were worth the $9 each.

Excellent, worth the extra money

The ice lasts a long time. It kept my milk cold for hours. When my hotel fridge was not working, the ice pack kept my milk cold all night and through a long travel day the next day.

They were great for baby bottles and now that we’re out of that phase they still get used for canned drinks and bottles of wine in my cooler. Multi purpose!

Works well in my little cooler I bring to work for pumping. Can be used with wider bottles but doesn't fit as well as the bottles that come with pumps; Medela, Spectra, Lansinoh, etc.

This is perfect for bottles, it's sturdy and doesn't leak, it stays cold for a long time, and it fits in all kinds of bags, coolers and lunch boxes/bags. And I like that I can still use it as a cold pack even when she's not using bottles anymore. I hate all the baby stuff you use for such a short time and can't use again.

We have a medela cooler bag that came with our pump. This fits perfectly with the bottles and with our cooler bag. It is identical to the ice pack we received with our kit. It’s great having an extra and not needing to worry about forgetting to put the ice pack in the freezer upon return home (with everything else that needs to be done with a new baby).

Me es de mucha utilidad, lo he probado transportando leche materna por 10 horas y la mantiene fría como en el refrigerador y mientras se va descongelando no deja húmeda la lonchera. Yo la coloco toda la noche y la saco por la mañana para tenerla lista. Te recomiendo comprar 2. Tengo otro refrigerante de otra marca, pero al descongelarse suelta agua y eso no me gusta. Sin duda volveré a comprar de esta marca, es algo cara pero ofrece lo que promete.
