Canson XL Series Mixed Media Paper Pad, White, 7x10 in

Just a decent quality toothy paper. It’s not rough or heavy enough for watercolor or paints but it’s great for pen & marker. It would work for ink. It’s not a hot press or smooth paper tho, definitely has some tooth to it, so idk it’s not really made for marker either. It’s a nice book for the sketchbook & the pages don’t rip out or bend when you turn it. And it’s a heavy enough paper it’s easy to turn the page. I could see it working with all kinds of dry multimedia, but I wouldn’t paint on it or it would buckle.

It was a gift for our grandson, and he loves the paper for a variety of projects. It’s thick enough that most markers won’t bleed through, but not so rough that it messes up a pencil drawing.

At first, I was hesitant to buy this because it was a little bit pricy, but I wanted to try it because it’s mixed media rough paper, and when I got this in my hand, I got so excited to draw on it, because the quality was way better than I expected, I had no regret having this for my fun time drawing with charcoal, and I loved it, because it holds well with charcoal, and the paper is thick and rough, so it is worth buying really good quality, and I recommend it!

Thick paper, nice tear outs. Nice for all sorts of art mediums. Great size for storing my abnormal amount of deranged drawings of waffles and chipmunks. And of chipmunks eating waffles. And waffles eating chipmunks. GREAT PRODUCT. WILL BUY AGAIN.

These sketchbooks are amazing you can do all sorts of mediums on them ranging from water color to pastels to charcoal to basically anything your heart desires these became my new favorite sketchbook years ago and these will be the only sketchbooks I ever purchase their sturdy, reliable and have a nice texture and their just so good highly reccomend.

I can erase enough without destroying the paper! Only issue was I received the book curved. It was bent through the whole book, but it’s pretty much flattened out now.

My daughter's go-to, always. She uses permanent markers and they don't bleed through to the next page.

My go to sketchbook! The pages are the perfect size for portraits or just simple practice sketches. I really love the fact that it can be used with a fair amount of mediums. I usually using shading pencils, and I find that this paper works well for me. The paper is thick and grainy. I have tested it with alcohol markers, and it does bleed through a tiny bit. I do really love these sketchbooks and think they’re the top of the market for the price, high quality and an investment.

Muy bueno, no lo recomiendo con acuarelas ni nada a base de agua ya que el estilo de la hoja es opalina y se empieza a romper y le salen muchas bolitas de papel (si quieren pintar en acuarela les recomiendo el watercolor de canson).Pero para los demás materiales bien.Me gusto que en la parte de la tapa traiga todos los libros de arte que tiene y como funciona cada uno con cada material.
