I had an older one of these chairs and wanted 2 more for my deck. They are wonderful: sturdy ( I weigh 260 ), NO ASSEMBLY !!!, back adjusts to 5 positions, very attractive, comfortable, and at a good price. Can't ask for more!

I purchased 20 of these for my home patio. They are very comfortable. The reclining feature is really cool. They remind me of turn of the century deck chairs. Unfortunately, they are very fragile. The wood itself is not very strong and the slats are thin. Without any abuse, much use, or even very large people sitting on them, 4 have already broken. I cannot recommend buying these. I consider my investment here as a total loss since I cannot risk a guest or family member being injured, I will have to replace them.

These are beautiful chairs, especially for the price! They came pre-assembled, and they look and feel solid and sturdy. Very good quality. We put cushions on them as well, and they look great!

There doesn't seem to be a "protective finish" on the chairs, just a stain that is not consistent throughout, that's the only reason for four stars. Overall, these chairs are Awesome! No assembly! They glide easily into the reclining positions; they are comfortable and sturdy! Despite the inconsistency of the finish, I am okay to spend the time lightly sanding and applying urethane to protect them. They will be placed outside, and I want to give them the best protection during the summer/fall months in Maine. I'm in hopes, they last a really long time.

Great chairs. We do historic reenactment. We made cushions for the chairs an all is well in the world of sitting. I order to be the best historic, I am planning to replace the screws to slotted.

OMG, we LOVE these chairs. They are quite comfortable but we also bought cushions to go on them which I would suggest. They are well made and seem very secure as long as you put them together the right way and tighten the screws.

chair broke in just 5 month

The chairs are superb. High backrests, foldable and easy to open and fold up. I do wish the finish was a bit smoother and the beams were more rounded. Also unfortunately, one chair of the pair came damaged. The beam between the back legs was broken, which is the only reason I am giving this just 2 stars. After all, it is functional furniture, and broken is just not acceptable. Hoping we can fix it with some glue and a nail or two.
