Hearing Aid Dryer Hearing Aid Dehumidifier

My gf accidently broke the power cord for my first hearing aid dryer no big. So my gf and I went on Amazon.com and she said how about this one it's only around $10 bucks and it's $11 dollars cheaper than your old one. So I said sure we ordered it and here is what happened. Just got it in the mail 2day 7/6/20 came 6-7 days early happy about that woohoo. So I plugged it in and read the instructions carefully easy. I put my hearing aid in the dryer after removing the battery and keeping the battery door open I turned it on very simple it said shuts off after 4hrs. We'll after about 2hrs I needed my hearing aid so I turned off the dryer and took out the aid and replaced the battery, I turned it on and I was stunned at how clearly everything sounded. For only being in the dryer for around 2hrs it sounded like it was new again imagine what the full 4hrs will do. Will give update 2morrow night after a full 4hrs in the dryer. Why is this only around $10 for such a small unit it works like the more expensive units. It works so well if I didn't know the price of the unit after I used it I would swear some one paid way to much for it. It may be a cheap unit but to me it's priceless and worth every penny. My hearing aid sounds better than ever I will recommend this to friends and family who have hearing aids. And when ever this unit does stop working I will buy a new one like this.

Got back from a trip that was full of heat, humidity and sweat! I'm so happy that I got this little guy. Simple to use and did a great job. My hearing aid guy said it was doing exactly what it should and approved this little machine!

I was using the non mechanical dehydrator and replacing it every 3 months. They are $7 so I found this one for $13 and figured if it lasted a yr I'm good. I've only had it a couple of months but it works great and I love it. I can tell huge difference in my aids! It santitzes and dries so you can't beat that especially for the price!

I like the size as it sits on my nightstand. It is white which matches my other devices and on the first morning after using it I found my hearing aids working much better.

I love the lid! With my old dryer, no lid, my cats would fish my hearing aids out so I had to cover it with something they couldn’t move. This lid makes all the difference

I bought this dehumidifier to dry out and disinfect my custom-in-ear-monitors before vacuuming out the ear wax I seem make more than my share of. It works well as I thought it would but I believe dehumidifiers should top out at 104-109 degrees, at least for CIEMs. The highest heat is toward the rear by the hinge where it gets to around 145, towards the front its a more reasonable 110 but that's with the door up. I'm sure that closed the temp will be much more uniform and I see no reason why it wouldn't be that 145 degrees. I won't be trusting my CIEMs in it for a complete 6 hour cycle, at most I might use it for the first 5 minutes when the UV light is on to disinfect them but before the unit can reach maximum temp. If your hearing aids won't be damaged by such high temps then at the $12 price tag it's probably a decent deal.
