Marzipan, ROLL - Pack of 6

I use marzipan every year in my Christmas backing, but it's disappeared from our small town store's shelves. So, I picked it up here.Pros: - tastes as I'd hoped - nice consistency for my baking - freshCons: - a little more expensive than I was accustom to paying but cheaper than burning the gas to drive the 1 1/2 to the next city.This came with three packs of marzipan. The quality is what I expected—nice consistency, easy to work with, and good taste. It's fresh enough as well and exactly what I'm accustom to using. So, the baking can start.

It is clearly marked as gluten free yet it has wheat in it. Now it’s not even letting me return it. Total crap! It says 30 days to return and I literally just got it and it says not eligible for returns. False advertising. I am so glad I read the ingredients even tho it says gluten free on the front. I could have gotten so sick.

The three packages of marzipan were individually wrapped so that part could be used for baking and part used for eating like candy, as my daughter did as part of her birthday wish. The flavor was delicious with the right amount of sweetness and almond flavor. The texture was good for shaping.

The marzipan was easy to shape, but difficult to resist. It made great cake decorations. Tastes like marzipan should.

Best price and super fresh...even stayed alright for a week after opening (unlike when bought at grocer). Just don't refrigerate it bc it will turn hard. Can't do without it at the holidays!

Odense is my favorite brand of marzipan and this 3 pack is a great deal, in the supermarket it's up to $10 for a 7oz roll and this is 3 for $15. And they're fresh, soft and easy to use with a little powdered sugar. Whereas if you buy it at the store it's often old and hard and sort of rancid. It's a good buy.

The candy is wrapped in tin foil so it is soft and fresh. It doesn't have all the Chemical coloring as marzipan candy usually has so there is no aftertaste. Good stuff

I looked a long time to find a good marzipan for candy making and this one was spot on. The flavor is excellent. No weird after flavor or added flavoring that ruins it. It's just right and I was happy with the price. I will be looking for this again next year for my Christmas treats. The shipping was faster then promised which was a nice surprise.
