Victor Technologies 0384-2691 Medalist 350 System Heavy Duty Cutting System, Acetylene Gas Service, G350-15-300 Fuel Gas Regulator

The Acetylene regulator actually does come with the correct fitting as stated in the product description. I myself did not catch this at first and I am a Welding Educator. True, the box does show a CGA 510 Acetylene regulator pictured...BUT the actual product picture taken in front of the box AND the product description specifically states that the fuel gas regulator is a G350-15-300 which translates into a CGA 300. When dealing with Acetylene regulators, there are around 4 different types....the 520, 510, 300, and the 200. The 510 will actually fit on propane cylinders as well. So, if you ordered this product and were dissapointed at first like I was, you actually DID get what you ordered and my suggestions are to 1) return it and get a kit with the CGA 510 if that is what you need. 2) purchase a separate regulator for the cylinder you have. 3) If you rent the Acetylene cylinder from a welding supply store, ask to exchange the cylinder for one that fits this regulator. 4) order an adapter fitting such as the Forney 87809 CGA 510 to 300 which is around $30 or the Western CGA 510 Male to CGA 300 Male adapter that is around $10.

The torch is high quality, but the customer support form this seller is the standout. ESAB included the wrong torch head in this kit, and Eddie's made sure it got corrected quickly. They even through in a rosebud for my trouble.

1# - received my Meadlist 350 as a Christmas gift in 2024. I got around to installing this in April 2025, After installing the O2 regulator and I was very pleased with the quality of the regulator.2# AS I installed the gas regulator I was stunned to see the connector was the SAME connector used to attach O2 regulator.!!!3# - In reviewing the unsatisfactory reviews, I find that OTHERS have received the same error.4# - I have attached photos of my problem..5# - The easiest solution is to ship me a unit that has the CORRECT fitting attachment.

Picture shows standard acetylene fitting, it is not. Had to buy adaptors

Don't know why Amazon continues to sell this item. The item is not as described on the packaging and this is in several of the other reviews. The Acetylene regulator will not fit a regular tank as it has a female fitting and not the normal male fitting. Had to replace fitting to use torch.

Solid quality set of touches. The only issue I had was one of the lenses on a Guage pops off easily but snaps back on easily enough. Overall worth the money.

Great torch set. I have used Kingston torch and many more off brand torch sets. Great design with the torch body fits in your hand great. Also the regulators are easy to read also color coded great. Over all a great product if you are doing heavy cutting and regular use.
