Works great
I love this stuff. I have a hard time doing my locks because my hand and arms start to hurt and cramp up. And it takes forever it feels like. I was getting them done professionally but that is expensive and the appointment times are always way out. But I’m doing a root touch up now and it makes it so much faster and locks them up tight with little to no crotchet work. I recommend this for sure.

Don't hesitate just buy it
The media could not be loaded. Looking at the product you would think it wouldn't work until you you put it into your dreadz and I also takes away all the frizziness. This is a wonderful product I definitely will be buying more

very helpful for starting and locking up dreads
Works very well. If you are a white person with dreadlocks you can use this shortly after washing your hair to tighten everything back up while palmrolling. It works pretty well but I absolutely recommend just adding this on to what you do with your hair instead of using it as any type of replacement for your routine. It is also very good while starting your dreads. Just don't use too much or you'll run out quick. When buying this please remember that even though it looks like a salt or pepper shaker, it does not go directly on your hair, shake it onto a flat surface or onto your hands and rub it into your hair, otherwise it will be very messy and ineffective.I used this and a crochet needle for my hair and my dreadlocks locked within 6 months.

Different package, less product, but works.
One star off because it was a completely different package and onlyn3 grams vs 5 grams. Not sure if this is an old picture, but if you buy expecting 5 grams, your only going to get 3.But, regarding the product, use sparingly, but if you have Caucasian, thin, or slick hair, this is what you need for your roots. No need to use often, but good for new growth.

Game changer
This is a complete game changer for anyone who needs help getting straggly hairs to lock. I live in an area where there are no dreadlock artists , and I have to do my own maintenance. I’ve done an OK job but never seem to quite look tight and my dreadlocks always look fuzzy. I love my entire journey, but just wanted a tighter root look from time to time and this is 100% amazing. Just a little bit on my fingertips to each dread area and then I rub the roots and then palm roll and boom, nice tidy frizz free.

A little goes a long way... Don't over do it!
You'll be tempted to just use this stuff up, FAST, because it works SO well at getting traction with fine hair. But I'm telling you... a little goes a LONG way. I made the mistake of using too much and it created this AWFUL build up that was tough to get rid of. We had a dread head in the house, and since I was the one doing the maintenance on them, we kept them super clean. It helps bring that grit you need, especially when you're working with holes/baby dreads/regrowth, BUT it's easy to over do it. Learn from my mistake and find the balance. If you use it minimally, and not too often, it is a LIFESAVER for fine hair-ed dread heads.

It works but...
It works but it leaves white powder look in your hair. Today I actually tightened by locks after 3 inches of new hair growth, completely forgot I had this stuff, used none of it for 3 hours on my whole head of locks and sitting here knowing I forgot, it doesn't even matter. It was slightly more time consuming, maybe 30 mins longer than it would be using this product, but it isn't a God-send; because it washed out. It also makes the hair very tight and difficult the manage when you are using a crotchet hook, which is from one of the ingredients which acts like a dry clay that kills all moisture. It doesn't feel like there is a lot in there, because there isn't, but it's also because the weight of the product itself, the powder is less dense than baby powder, it's very light, almost like snowflake density. Using the top like a pepper shaker I feel is wasteful, I recommend putting a knife under the lid and popping the top off, pouring into into a baggie and then pinching out what you need when you do locks. It's far less wasteful and more effective than the pepper shaker method.Al-in-all I returned it because I do not feel the price matches what it is, instead I copied the ingredients down and made my own batch, works just as good and it cost me as much as this shaker costs me, for 8oz of each ingredient, so I have about 5000% more volume for the same price.I have Caucasian locks, if you have issues where you put wax in your hair, used lotion at some point that's all gooey in there, issues with hairs staying in locks, I would suggest it, but get the gunk of our your hair first by finding a top rated clarifying shampoo. You cannot just keep adding to locks, you need to repair then add.Note: White powder will leave slight residue behind and may look like you have dandruff.
