OTTERBOX Defender Cell Phone Case for Samsung Galaxy Note5 - Retail Packaging - Melon POP (SAGE Green/Hibiscus Pink)

I am very happy with the quality and performance of this Otterbox and all other Otterbox cases I or my family has owned. There is no doubt these cases are more bulky than the cute trendy cases but are hands down the best for safety. I recently bought the Note 5 and didn't want to add to the size of the already larger phone and I went with a smaller trendy case and long story short just had to pay the insurance deductible to replace my phone after a fall. So, back to the Otterbox I went and the Otterbox is where I will stay. Another great thing about the Otterbox is that they stay looking nice. I ordered the gray last time and this time and it stays so nice. I have had knockoffs and the look dull so fast which I can't stand that and stains on my cases. The case came from them in the original box and with Amazon Prime the 2 day free shipping can't be beat.

I use this case on my Note 5 and it fits perfectly. I am not able to charge on the wireless pad, but if you take off the outer case, it will charge. Kind of a pain, but just goes to show you how much protection you have. The case slides easily in my jean's back pocket. Good grip when you are holding it. Buttons work great. I bought this case not only for the protection but my phone is so sensitive to touch that I wanted the case to make it harder to touch things accidentally. The buttons work great for this. The screen also needs extra sliding or touching making it less prone to sensitivity. I must have at least a dozen cases for this phone, but this is the only one I will use from now on.

This is a very Heavy Duty cell phone case. It is easy to hold and it gives you the feeling you could probably drop kick it 40 feet without any harm to my phone upon landing. It's also a very good looking case. The touch screen works just fine. However, I'm not sure about how water resistant it may be. I have not had it in any kind of water but the reason I'm answering is that I've noticed some little - well little dust spots or particles under the case glass cover and the actual screen of the phone. Some particles might indicate that it was possible for water to get in if it were immerged in water; but looking at all the seams and coverings I really can't see how even the dust got in. All in all I'm happy with the case.

As a craftsmaker and body artist its really easy to damage and straight out break your phone, especially if it lives in the sun or our back pocket. Not only is the otterbox defender sleek and beautiful in design, but it also really holds up to active everyday use and abuse. i work outside a lot and around glitter and other particulate material. the port cover keep it fresh and clean and i dont have to worry about the port cover breaking off because its not always properly in place (its usually plugged into something) and gets caught on everything. my pixel 3xl lives in my back pocket if im working or driving so theres lots of opportunity for it to crack or worse. two months in and so far so good. i like that the outer case has a great feel to it and not too much but jsut perfect amount of texture so tha you can get a really good hold on it. sure getting used to the phone having that much more space because the case is that much bigger than the phone by itself took some time getting used to but after that its totally cool. id really recommend this case to anyone who needs some serious protection. its affordable and doesnt break the bank. personally i have a history of breaking devices bad enough to where they cant be fixed and its makes that much more sense to invest in a really good case and not have to worry about replacement any time soon (lets keep our fingers crossed). enjoy everyone! thanks for listening and youre welcome.

I got this case to use when doing fieldwork, but I've continued using it because I actually like it a lot more than I expected. Fits the Note 5 well and has typical Otterbox Defender quality. The Defender seems to have slimmed down since the last one I bought (Galaxy S3; although phones have also gotten thinner), but I was still pleasantly surprised the case was not the beast I was expecting. The outer slipcover provides really good grip. The built-in screen protector is not the most elegant, but it works and so far I've resisted the urge to rip it out. The S-pen is still pretty responsive through it, and there's no large gap between it and the screen. Dust does get trapped underneath, and I do take everything apart to clean periodically because the specks bother me. The holster is nice -- I clip it to the strap on my bag when I walk to work. I do think there is one design flaw worth noting, which I guess I'm deducting a star for, and that is that the cutout for the S-pen is wide and leaves that area vulnerable during a drop. I almost never drop my phone, but the one time I did was a pretty spectacular drop. It nailed that exposed corner and the impact ejected the S-pen, which I found several feet away. Now, the phone and S-pen were both totally fine (yay Otterbox!) and there weren't even any nicks in the metal anywhere, but I do think I got lucky as I've read other reviews where the exact same thing happened and their S-pen and the phone were damaged in the fall. And as others have noted the teal is closer to a sky blue than a true teal.

Awesome product for your expensive phone

Had an Otterbox with my old phone, and i loved it. The Otterbox for my Note 5 is exactly the same, well designed and very durable, it suits my needs perfectly. For the price i got it for on Amazon it was a no brainer.....

Excelente funda!!! Muy comoda y segura. Es voluminosa si la tienes con el clip de cinturon, pero si no cabe perfecto en el bolcillo. Buen diceño que permite acceder sin problemas al SPen. Sin duda la volveria a comprar de ser necesario

Very good case keeps the phone safe and also does not affect wireless charging.
