Perfect for my 95 Corvette but use a spacer with your MC
UPDATE: I had to buy another one of these slave cylinders as I blew out the first at less than 100 miles. After some extensive trouble shooting I determined a spacer in between the master cylinder and firewall is needed and per the FSM, it should have been there all along. Without it the MC had preload on it when the my foot was off the clutch not letting the piston full return and thus pushing the rod too far when pushing the clutch in. This in turn was pushing too much fluid and pressure to the slave thus I blew the seals out. I still give the slave 5 stars and look forward to getting many miles out of it.The original clutch slave on my 1995 Corvette was showing a very slight leak so I replaced it with this Luk slave. I was able to install with no issues what so ever. The master and slave on the car had been replaced by a previous owner before and this new Luk slave was identical to the old one. I gravity bled it before installing it and so far the car is running though the gears with ease. Take note that once the slave is full of fluid and you go to install it, you will need all your strength to push it in to place. Remember to take the cap off the clutch master so the fluid can push back in to the reservoir on the master. Yes, the bleeder screw points down once installed, you must gravity bleed it out of the transmission facing up.

thicker and heavier less failure or rust point appears as good or better than ORM! So far so good!
The media could not be loaded. thicker casting and one piece, might dissipate heat better than OEM. 1 less failure point and rust point it appears as good or better than ORM! May even be a update,1991 Chevy Corvette L-98/ZF-6 Bolts right in and includes new fittings reuses your bolts and Studs. So far so good!

Leaks Like a Sieve!
I purchased this item because the seller's product description indicated it was of US origin. Upon arrival I noticed the box and the packaging indicated it was made in "CHINA".Disappointed, I went thru the arduous task of replacing the slave cylinder and primed it with expensive DOT-4 brake fluid.Upon testing, I discovered it leaked badly thru the bleed screw when the clutch pedal was applied.Unfortunately, the bleed screw and slave cylinder casting appear to be substandard.
