Kitty Buffalo Leather Fling String (Regular) - Interactive Cat and Kitten Toy - USA Made, USA Buffalo Leather

I was expecting something a little heavier, and leathery in smell and feel... My cat loved this leather, braided belt I use to own that was heavy and the only real leather item I owned. This looks and feels closer to foam rubber than it does leather, but I have to admit, my cat does love it. She loves to chew it, she loves to smell it, she loves to roll on it. That's a winner for me. The minus for me is the leather is raw on one side so it leaves these little particles on my clothes and furniture. Not badly, and again, this may be something that happens with real leather, but it was a bit messy. I like the fact that it's simple and I can braid it or tie it in knots so she can grab it or chew it. It's loads of fun for her.

I know it seems strange but she plays with this by herself and with me. She's a string loving cat. It seems to stay durable with her but I could see more rowdy cats maybe doing more damage to it.

Cats went crazy for this. It's so simple but they just adore it. They are turning their noses up at their (previously) favorite wands now, and they wait for this to come out of the toy box. It's thin enough to look like a wiggly worm or snake, but thick enough so that when they catch the end of it, they can sink their teeth into it with satisfaction without chewing it off easily. So much safer than string or yarn.

Finally found a replacement for the original string toy that the cat liked so much. Ribbons and plain strings didn’t interest the cat at all.This is totally different, she’ll chew on it and chase it aggressively like the original fuzzy string the toy came with. I assume it’s the taste, texture or smell of the material. Highly recommend!

This is such a simple toy but my cat adores it. We play with it several times a day and he’s acting like a kitten with it and he’s an adult cat! It’s really long too so I don’t have to bend over much, which is good for my back.This is a hidden gem of a toy and my cat loves it.

Cat loves this string. The only reason i am not giving this reorder a 5 star review is because this string was at least 4 inches shorter than the first one I ordered, which makes it harder to use in play.

My cats are nuts for this leather "string". They also chew the crap out of it, and it's a matter of days before it's in small, small pieces.

My cat really enjoys chasing around after this. She will jump in the air with all 4 feet off the ground to catch it.
