519A D.M.S. Combo Mag and ASP Handcuff Case

the item is as described, it is sturdy and holds items securely. Fits regular handcuffs as well as ASP.

I bought it on faith as the stock photo is brown leather. I also bought it knowing I would mangle it to make my ASP hinged cuffs fit into it. Item is Black, as seen in photos. Item was mangled reasonably and remains presentable. The leather is thick so modifying the holder is a painstaking process if you don't want to gash the leather. I did because I got a call during this process but a small rectangle that you can't see from the side or top (cut into the bottom of the holder) will accommodate the cuffs and keep you in uniform. First picture is my scratch on the item post modification. Avoidable but doesn't take away from the presentation much. Second is my hole. 1 and 3/8ths inch long by 7/8th inch wide cut with a utility razor blade. Leather is around 1/8th inch thick for the curious. Third picture is the general presentation of the item post edit. Item got 5 stars. It is obviously quite rugged and shines well with polish. It is good leather. Take care when modifying it. It sits at waist level so someone would need to be at eye level or lower to see what you do if you modify it, easily concealed. A great choice if you like leather and a bikini cuff case.

Leather seems good quality. The ASP cuffs fit well but the button snap is almost too easy to break open. Hopefully as I break it in the leather will stretch a bit and the cuffs will seat better. --- side not if you take off the plastic waist holder part and put the screws into the lugs it becomes uncomfortable because the screws and washers have sharp edges. Definitely a quality control issue with the sourcing of these pieces. A couple pennies more per part could be justified.

Great leather product! I run it with a Glock mag and a set of ASP Ultra Plus hinge cuffs. I did not have to modify the case at all to fit these cuffs. I just wish they had a variant in brown for when I wear my brown leather belt.
