Literal TRASH but I needed them for a vintage guitar.
I just needed to send a vintage guitar out the door and be "playable". These things are a you get what you pay for situation but I can not fault $12 tuners and expect them to be top of the line. They are 5 stars at being placeholder trash.

They look nice and work well except for one.
I installed these on my lp knockoff. I get to stringing it up and get to the last string. The last tuning peg doesn't have a hole for the string to go through. Seller, can you send me a new one?Changed to 5 star because seller made it right. I get it QA issues happen. Thanks!

Flimsy
These are cheap, flimsy tuning pegs. Yep, they work, and they’re anything but smooth turning. They don’t slip so the string does stay at pitch. If you’re looking to replace pegs for a cheap guitar, these will work. If your guitar is worth over a hundred bucks, buy better.

Work ok. Not a step up from factory.
If you want to upgrade tuners, spend more. These were on par with the cheap stock Epiphones (old. I believe quality has improved in recent years). They hold tune. They are if varying degrees of stiff, even after I lubricated the gears.

Restored an old guitar to like new
I've owned an old Ventura since 1980. It has outlasted several other more expensive guitars and 3 marriages. One of my old tuning keys, machine heads, whatever you want to call them, started buzzing during play. These are not quite a direct drop in but very close. Everything works as it should and the guitar stays in tune! They have been installed for a month or more and are holding tension just fine. They almost look like original equipment as well.

Perfect replacement
Had to replace a tuner on my Savannah acoustic guitar. This was an exact match. Works great.

These are good tuning machines!
These were a drop-in replacement for the tuners in my First Act guitar. They are smooth, there is no slop or play in them, and they hold tune perfectly. Great value and I'm glad I didn't spend more on something else.

Does the job for Inexpensive guitars
Uses these on a tele copy , they are a lil stiff when they turn, lil wd40 helped . Def recommend for a inexpensive builds or replacements, wouldn't suggest them for Strats for eg .

They work.....kind of.
Trying to get into tune with these is a headache. Lots of dead space where turning the peg does nothing. When they eventually do start to tighten or loosen the string its jumpy. Not gradual. You end up chasing the note around going from flat to sharp. Its a struggle to get it where you want it to be.HOWEVER. two stars since when/if you do manage to get everything in tune, they seem to hold up well enough.Ill still be replacing them though.

Fair Quality for the price
I purchased them to replace the Original on a Strat Affinity . as a replacement they are OK .as an Improvement to the original they are about the same Quality as Fender used in the first place . You get what you pay for and for what I paid they are acceptable .
