are the dimensions of this light standard for most track lighting fixtures?

this was bought as a replacement light in a range hood. one thing about these lights. they get hot, so, not for long constant use.

Is this UV free bulb?

I'm not sure, it doesn't say it anywhere on the box. I use for a candle warmer so it's covered.

i have a photo box that has 2 small portable lights that take these bulbs, but only simple on/off switch. Can dimmable bulbs be used?

I am using the bulbs in my overhead stove fan. There are two settings, bright and dim. The bulbs work just fine and I believe they would also work well with a simple on/off switch.
