My first impression was wow, thus scale is big. Then, wow these numbers are huge and bright. I like it! So it won't work on carpet, the footpads sink into the carpet and the scale high centers! Good news though, you can put it on carpet for the holidays and feel good about yourself! I'm only 60lbs!!!Joking aside, on a hard surface I get consistent results, much better than the top rated "eatsmart" scale on Amazon, which tends to jump around.Bluetooth connectivity is simple, the app is elegant and solid, if not grossly simple and perhaps lacking in features and integration with other services. Your target weight if far off will make your progress show up a little gradual (you know, scales and stuff, no pun intended).I haven't had issues with connectivity, and overall am quite happy. Wish there was a body fat analyzing version, but how accurate are those anyway?Oh hey, I paid full price for this item!I have downgraded my review due to lack of updates and support to the nuyu app. If someone else steps on the scale the weight is permanently saved on your graph, you cannot override it unless you catch it right away and weigh yourself to overwrite the entry.

My wife have had this scale for a couple of months and we haven't had any major issues. The setup was easy and anytime you want to record your weight you just stand on the scale holding your phone with the required app (Nuyu) open. The only issue we've had is that my wife and I usually take turns in the morning recording our weight. The scale is supposed to find the closest phone to record the weight to, which should be the person standing on the scale. But sometimes her weight will get sent to my phone or vice versa.We love the design as well. It's very sleek and the numbers are big and bright. Very happy with the purchase, I have no regrets and I would recommend this to a friend or family member.

The scale is great, solidly built, with a pleasing design, and does what a scale does, but the app and Bluetooth pairing are a joke. First, the app (Android user here): It shouldn't be called that because it's really a mini-browser that brings up a nuyu web site. (It doesn't appear to store any data locally and isn't able to anything without connecting to that website. Then the main problem is, that website is not up or doesn't respond in most instances when the 'app' tries to connect. Furthermore, (likely as a result of the first issue) it keeps forgetting the Bluetooth pairing and user profile. Each time I try to connect with the scale, it asks to pair again. Now get this: It also requests that a new nuyu user ID be set up - it won't allow the use of an ID which was previously set up. So each time you want to sync with the scale there's an awful lot of work involved. How about scrapping that app, and the server back-end, and starting from scratch. However, this time hire programmers (and testers) who know what they're doing, please.

Scale is pretty accurate. I gave only 2 stars because after having it for a while, I'd really prefer it to display your BMI right on the scale, but it only shows your weight. The app is the only way to see the BMI, so you need to make sure your phone is nearby, which wouldn't be too big of a deal, except the app constantly signs itself out, so you need to login to the app with a username and password just for the scale to sync with the app and record your BMI. You can't even tell the app to save your password to avoid this. To top it off, I couldn't sign in this last time, and tried the forgot password link, and apparently the account associated with my email doesn't exist anymore. So all my weight tracking / BMI history is gone. If the scale only showed the BMI on screen, I wouldn't need to deal with this crap app!

I really like it except for it weighs you less than what you really weigh

I can't get this scale to work properly I have tried recalibrating it several times and it still doesn't provide the accurate information. The display doesn't always turn on when it should. It shows the weight that's way pff either severely under or over the person's actual weight. I thought I still had time to return or exchange it but it looks like that passed already so now I just have a big paper weight at this point with it since it doesn't do what it's supposed to and I can't return or exchange it for one that might actually worl correctly. I will never buy a smart scale ever again. Do not buy this product it's a waste of money!!!

works great other than took too long to get here when ordered. Had to complain about it not arriving on time. I do not keep connected to my phone all the time. Quickly gives readout.

Love this scale. Super easy to read and reliable numbers. Just make sure you’re on a flat surface. I have not used the app that will sync to the scale because I already log everything into myfitnesspal. Great scale though!
